All I'm saying is that with enough protection the cost of assaulting the compound won't be worth it, but you're probably right; making inroads in the first place for long enough to get set up would probably be prohibitively expensive.

Maybe...I wonder if an operation well funded enough could secure land enough to support a small community there to start resisting the local corruption. It would have to have fairly heavy security but then just farm a crop that has insane margins worldwide: cannabis. There would be better places for sure but this could be a self sustaining strategy to start breaking up the hold on power in placed like that which could support an agri community.

Ah I have a few friends that are das weeb, they're mostly tolerable.
This method also negates their ability to piece together context from various etymological and linguistic roots. I can't tell you how many times I was able to work out what a word meant by breaking up the phonetics and deducing the meaning from thier roots.
