Stand ovation! Forced speech is wrong, and it's the hallmark of every communist dictatorship. I wish more companies had your spine!

Exactly, this really worries me. They thought Hitlery had it in the bag last time, but they know no one will vote for Biden, they'll be using every voter fraud strategy they have and the media will cover it up. You could show actual footage of people faking ballots and pulling boxes out of trunks, won't matter, they'll still pretend Gropin' Joe won.

I second this. Instead of pushing the "smart, strong, Conservative woman" into being a CEO or politician, imagine if the conservative ladies decided to use their intelligence to homeschool their kids. A whole generation of patriotic, hard-working, stable people.

And they'll try to claim their pick will be the first "POC" to be VP, even though there was already a Republican VP who was American Indian 90 some years ago.

Would a black platform even let her speak or publish an article written by her?

Was there even a Juneteenth celebration planned until after the rally date was changed and the liberals found out there was even such a thing in the first place?

I think spanking is controversial because people think beating equals spanking. It doesn't, a parent blowing their top and beating their child is out of control. Discipline isn't something you just do when you're tired and fed up, or try to start after the kid is older, it has to start from the beginning and be consistent. There are age-appropriate rules, and consequences for breaking them. Kids are also different - there are some that think being set in the corner for time out is the end of the world, others will sit there entertaining themselves forever and don't care, but hate spankings.

Definitely! I tried reading a few on reddit that were specifically for conservative women but they always get flooded with nuts trying to get it shut down or they do that "everybody welcome, let's be nice" and the whole thing turns left.

Wow, thanks for the Footloose link! I've watched the Uptown Funk one many times, and didn't know there was another. So fantastic!

Is it just my screen or did they turn him bright orange again?

Frog_Anne 1 point ago +1 / -0

That seems strange, if they really wanted to be disrespectful, wouldn't they just not use any title at all? My perspective is probably different though, because in Asian cultures calling an older person Aunt or Uncle is respectful, like addressing an older lady as "Miss Whoever" in the South.

Is bitchute the only other video platform? My first objection is their name, it would be very awkward to send video links to your parents (or brother who's a minister) with a swear word in the name.

The stupid way they write makes me want to hurl.

On the upside, it also reminds me of that hilarious Top Gear episode, where Clarkson is driving the Peel P50. He goes to a fake meeting that's basically making fun of this sort of convoluted speaking.

It doesn't even matter where you came from, this is getting ridiculous. You don't have to add disclaimers to every statement, justify yourself by sharing your struggle, and trot out minority friends to prove a negative.

"Well, actually, my family was in the relocation camps, so I can say..." "Oh I was poor, we lived on the wrong side of the tracks, so..."

They've invented this bogus "inherited trauma/privilege" based on skin color so they can attack regardless of your actual experiences and background. Can we please agree to quit playing their stupid game?

Speaking of fake news, there are still people here in the US and in other countries who honestly believe Trump said Nazis were fine people. Just pull out part of a quote, leave out the context (where he said he wasn't talking about the Nazis and they should be condemned), then put it in the headline next to the picture with those stupid neo-Nazi fakers, and there you go, half the world thinks he was referring to Nazis and will never bother reading any further or listening to the actual transcript. Those sneaky little turds who call themselves reporters are absolute scum.

If you're talking actual live people who are voting themselves, Trump will win in a landslide, no contest. When you factor in boxes of "found" ballots, deceased voters, vote harvesting, illegal alien voters, etc., it could be close.

That is infuriating, actually. They give full-ride scholarships to just about any athlete, but any other talent you have to pay out the nose. If they weren't throwing money at athletes, they could have some for scholarships for kids who are actually intelligent, or more scholarships for music/arts people. After all, most of the "athletes" are never going to be professional, why give them money but not a musical person? I knew a girl in college who was there on a full-ride rowing scholarship. She hadn't rowed before college, they just needed another body to fill the team and she didn't make the basketball team. I think she even got enough to cover living expenses. Rowing wasn't even a thing at this university, I didn't even know they had a team. I think they needed another girl's sport to even up numbers.

Well, I think military pays for college, doesn't it? If he doesn't want to do that, at least check out doing some stuff at community college, or getting credits in high school. You'll need to check carefully, because there are some community college classes that won't prepare him well, but if you can find good ones and make sure they transfer, that will really help keep costs down. Also, try to explore careers/majors while in high school - talk to someone in that field, see if he can shadow them for a day so he won't end up changing majors and wasting expensive credits. And, it goes without saying to chose a useful major that results in a real job. It's great that you're thinking of this and giving him some options. I wish someone had explained this sort of thing to me when I was in high school, I was just told that I needed a degree, any degree, in order to get a job, so I just went to college and had crippling loans over my head for years.

This kind of forced speech, requiring people to confess unproven sins and proclaim support for a movement/person is the hallmark of every communist dictatorship. I know it's a crazy world, but I still cannot believe how many people and businesses are just going along with this - you're being told to pay protection money to a shady group and then forced to say certain words! Why is everyone going along with this?

It was required reading in my school, but we didn't read 1984 or Animal Farm, I read those on my own.

These inner city schools are also dealing with kids from broken families. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. When the poor kid's mom doesn't care, doesn't teach them to behave and listen to the teacher, doesn't care if they do their homework to try to learn, there's not much the teacher can do. Then to top it off, the teacher is blamed because the kid who refuses to pay attention doesn't know anything.

I used to love those Little House on the Prairie books when I was little, and the descriptions of school will change your perspective on what's needed to learn. They were sharing books, slates, half a chalk pencil. She describes trying to learn her lessons while sharing the book with her sister. They were on different lessons, so just held up the pages in the middle and each read their own lesson so they could go up to the teacher's desk and be quizzed verbally. Inner city schools are not underfunded, they're infested with thieving administrators, terrible parents, and apathetic children.

This is the same racist attitude they have toward blacks when they say any problems are whitey's fault, as if a black person has no agency or free will. They like to present natives as peaceful, open-minded creatures, as if they were a dog specially bred to live at one with nature and smoke peace pipes. Talk about racist! The natives were people, who did good things and bad, just like any other group of people.

How do people still believe that "every part of the animal" nonsense, there are historical sites where they had buffalo jumps - drive an entire herd off the cliff and then use whatever bits you wanted while the rest rotted.

Case in point: Hagia Sophia. It was stolen, defaced, and turned into a mosque. It's supposed to be just a museum now, but of course they allow Muslims to do stuff there but not Christians.
