I agree generally with "holistic" approaches in the sense of using the oldest available medication with predictable side effects.

I do not want to experiment with the newly created ADHD medications.

I only use my prescription during work and when I need to focus. This is extremely important in my line of work. When I am out of work, I simply take a break. When I was in college I wouldn't take it during summer or winter breaks.

The most important aspect for me is that I don't like the medication. I don't want to have to take it. However, I recognize the importance in taking it for my role in society. One day, I hope to shift my line of work and not need to take it. Until that happens, I need to take it. If my medication were cut, it would damage my quality of life significantly.

Yeah, it's used for narcolepsy and ADHD. The other thing to point out is that it's only prescribed in 5mg oral tablets.

Another component of methamphetamines harmfulness is that people will inject it (ROA or "route of administration) and that they will take doses far outside what is medically recommended.

It's still useful for some people from a medical standpoint. Perhaps they don't respond well to traditional ADHD medications, or they need a longer lasting aid against narcolepsy to allow them to function.

The Grateful Dead was the last bastion of peaceful Americana before the shutdowns.

They even had "Make America Grateful Again" shirts that both workingmans dead and trustafarian dead could wear alike.

Meth face isn't real. The photos are taken of homeless schizophrenics.

Methamphetamine is actually schedule 2 (legal with prescription). There is nothing in the medical literature that suggests that tooth decay or "meth face" is a side effect of the drug.

Methamphetamine is extremely cheap. Therefore, homeless people can afford to use it. The root cause of the problem is not the drug, but the mental state of the homeless person being photographed for the next "meth face" PSA.

It is also the responsibility of the patient to understand themselves and their medication.

I'd rather doctors have the same freedom to try, and the patients the freedom on choice.

I disagree that adderall should be any more restricted than it currently is, except to reduce the dosing of people under age 16-18.

My story is that I struggled throughout my childhood and early college years with adhd and once I was prescribed I could actually function at capacity with enough time left over to relax and live a healthier lifestyle.

I'm glad I wasn't prescribed as a kid, but my parents enforced a strict, rewards based and time based schedule that kept me functional. When I got to college, I was pulling all-nighters every week until I got prescribed and could focus on what I needed to do.

Ok, but adderall has its uses and I think that the stuff about "numbing active imaginations" is wrong. I think it should be limited to later teenage years, and it helps a lot of adults.

India is a big country with a lot of economic variation. There are definitely fun and interesting places worth visiting.

For example, Id love to go to Goa for their psytrance rave scene. I've heard it's an economic vacation spot.

Well it depends on the form of the chemistry. Crack is just another form of cocaine and is temporarily a liquid.

Also, prices vary based on location and purity as well as network position. The USA is a very large country.

Mainstream websites won't typically yield accurate "illegal" drug information. I think it's obfuscated for multiple reasons, particularly, to mislead and misinform ignorant people.

With all that said, you are incorrect about cocaine being an "illegal narcotic." That is law enforcement language. Cocaine is schedule 2 meaning it is legal with a prescription and medical research can be conducted without altering the base chemistry into an analogue. (Funfact : all of the synthetic "spice" drugs were invented to target specific cannabinoid receptors in the brain without using THC, which is schedule 1)

They're violating section 230. They aren't platforms. Section 230 isn't being enforced.

Think of it as a pool of 1 million people with 1 million separate opinions. The tech companies select 12 of those opinions and push them endlessly, while banning 2/3rds of the remaining population. That is publishing.

CNN doesn't have to hire a journalist. Twitter doesn't have to push a "user" to trend. Both CNN and Twitter publish the views of the users and journalists they promote.

There are some youtube channels from travelers to India. The low class food stalls there don't have water or clean plates. They just wipe the silverware on a dirty rag.

I don't think the caste system is how it's portrayed by the media.

If the USA had designated shitting streets where people didn't have running water or toilets, I'd imagine you'd be hesitant to shake hands with them.

India for sure has potential to compete with China.

India's issues are more the insane wealth range. You have cities like Mumbai which are basically living standards at least on the level of a decent US city, and then you have slums 30 minutes away from Mumbai which are almost sub-Saharan Africa tier.

You ever see someone get a tattoo of their fursona?

No way 50% of people are dumber than that. Also, they went too deep with their $20 ebay tattoo gun and it was blown out from day 1.

Lennon Claypool Delirium covers 60s King Crimson and Pink Floyd so it's an older audience.

Oh yeah, it's also awesome. Time portal.

Reddit moderator Maxwellhill (first reddit account to get 1 million karma) hasn't made a post since Ghislaine was arrested by the FBI. Maxwellhill was extremely active, posting daily.

Seems like someone else is moderating the news and politics subs now.

The left is certainly afraid, but they act their craziest in fear, almost like a cornered animal.

The media and education systems bear the most blame. Corporations that use "training" to preach communism by proxy are also to blame.

We need a law that allows defense of the employed against H.R. (Human Roadblocks).
