The lay leadership in these unions haven't worked in a long time or were no good in the field to begin with - that's why they become union stewards or 'business agent'. Who the fuck wants to deal with that bullshit political if you can make 6 figures and knock off early on Fridays and not have to think about work until Monday? No normal person - only someone who is a shitty worker and can't actually hack it in the field. And then they go up in the ranks. And then you have the professional class (college boys) who actually run these things and become professional 'union organizers' and 'labor experts', who've never actually worked a day in their life.

These people don't understand what it means to work and work and want to stay busy and get overtime to pay off that house or put that kid in college...they've always been paid no matter what in good times and bad. That's what the union taught them because they're on top of the pyramid scheme.

I think what happened at the capitol building ended that possibility. He's over. I'm not happy about it...but I'm sure that he's done.

Get a convention of states to happen - amend the constitution to implement term limits. That is the key.

It's over.

What the hell drugs are you on? Seriously? What is wrong with you people?

TD and TD.win was full of smart people who reasoned and talked through the TDS shit.

Ever since the election this has been one big circle jerk larp fest.

It's over.

It's over.

It's over.

She shouldn't have been there.

It was also an unnecessary and likely unlawful use of deadly force.

Well, the 100 or 500 or so dumbfucks that got into the Capitol Building really fucked things up. Let's blame them first. That wasn't peaceful.

They just got used to the Obama years, when he kept "hearing about it when you did - on the news" in regard to bad shit that happened or anything resembling a controversy.

"Wait you can scan it more than once?" Indeed.

EVERY BALLOT should have a unique mark/id/number. EVERY ONE. And that ballot should be tied eventually to date of vote, time of vote, precinct, when it was counted, etc. It would prevent double scanning. It would prevent ballots from being outside the chain of custody.

Printing unique identifiers is easy. It makes no sense why this wouldn't be the case.

It does have this... "oh my god, is this like college kids doing this in a basement?" kind of look as far as the camera/video/lighting quality. Hard to describe.

You wanna change the rules fine. Just do it through legislation next time.

Short cuts get you nowhere.
