Reddit was a shithole stopgap from Digg, which was a shithole stopgap from... umm, something i'm sure? Slashdot? Fucking MetaFilter or whatever it was called?
Anyways, all of these platforms slanted Left right from the start, and always had a self-righteous attitude, and were perfectly willing to turn into the authoritarian shitholes they are.
This is maybe the first time I feel like one of these platforms may actually stand a chance to represent free speech, because it's blatantly obvious to everyone how badly we need it if we are even to survive as human beings and not algorithms driven towards retardation.
I'm very impressed with what has been accomplished here in such a short time frame.

I think it's worse than you think, tbh. Almost half the country is on board with Critical Race Theory, the Fine People Hoax, and general woke corporate worshiping. It's how we are even at this point to begin with; having the election literally get rigged.
Things are very very bad right now. And now is the time when heroes must rise. Our forefathers fought and died in absolutely horrific wars, to make the world what it is today: more peaceful than any other period in world history.
We can't allow half our countrymen to remain brainwashed. We must fight. We must win. But NEVER underestimate your enemy. That was a lesson well learned in the World Wars. Always be ready for ANYTHING.
I'd love to just see the community open up in general to anyone who wants to start one. Of course I know that's down the road, I'm just so excited to finally have a great aggregator no longer needlessly censored with for no rhyme or reason like Reddit.
