What I meant is that not enough Christian men and women (i.e. "good people") who actually care about the Republic dedicate enough time and effort to public service.

It is a nation founded by a majority of Christian men and women, but it is not based directly on the Ten Commandments or the words of Jesus. It is based on an agreement of how men and women are to be governed by themselves, not by a dictatorship and not by God directly.

Did we really have a choice? In hindsight, if it weren't for Trump "losing", these people would not have been exposed. Think about it - if Trump was granted his victory, Mitch, Cheney, Graham, all of them would have not been forced into a tough position where they would really have to make a sacrifice to truly represent their constituents. Now they were, and they chose themselves over their constituents. Now we know. Now we can primary them. Now we can begin the process of reforming the GOP. GOP leaders know damn well if Trump creates a new political party their careers are over. And the majority of us who voted for him are thinking that scenario can't come soon enough right now.
He DID win a landslide of counties. He DID win a landslide of Bellweather states. He DID help the GOP ("we") win a landslide of House seats.
Pray, read, study with others who have been in it longer than you. There are many great daily broadcasts from ministries around the world you can find on the internet. Just make sure it is verse-by-verse. Context is key in every chapter.

The most corrupt political establishment in the history of this country publicly condemned DJT twice, and attached that condemnation to his legacy. What's not to celebrate? It's like confirmation that Trump is the real deal and not just another swamp creature leading us on only to dump us at the end. In the long run, anyone looking back will see that Trump was publicly condemned by these evil and wicked people and know that the direction he was setting us on was a better one. Not perfect, definitely not easy, but good enough to push these people over their edge, twice.
