I had it too, about 5 years ago. I remember the eye drops thing and having to tape my eye shut overnight. And yes, it can result in permanent damage of the facial nerves if the inflammation is not immediately treated. Fortunately it freaked me out enough that I contacted a doctor right away and started taking steroids within the first 72 hours. I still have a very slightly crooked smile but it's mostly unnoticeable. Could have been much worse. Bottom line: Something that permanently fucks up your face is nothing to just shrug off. Oh wait, we'll all be compelled to wear face diapers everywhere we go for the rest of our lives, so who's ever gonna know?

Can someone please explain to me how it's so much more onerous and unjust to throw out millions of fraudulent votes when keeping them results in millions of legitimate votes being nullified? Shouldn't the legitimate votes have higher standing? FFS! This is infuriating bullshit!

I just double checked. It doesn't appear that an email address is required to request an absentee ballot in WI, only first and last name and birthdate, assuming the requester is already registered. If not, then they can register by also providing a residential address and a scan of a WI drivers license or state ID.
