Wife and I have a standing date, every Friday at 445. On the back deck. Drink in hand (and a cigar for me) and just enjoy it. No phones, music...nothing. Just sit and be together. Great way to kick off the weekend, and start to focus on things that aren't disaster related.

Start your day with 10 push ups. Get 10 in on lunch. Get 10 more in after dinner. Add 1 more everyday. Its amazing what a difference what a little workout will do to reset your mind.
Get in touch with family/friends as you think of them. There is a reason you thought of them. Don't talk politics, just say hi. Tell them to have a great day.
Wish well on others every chance you get. Tell your lib parents that you love them, and you hope they have a great day.
Look into churches in your area. Even virtual services will help ground you. Once activities start again, go meet people from there! Most people your age at church are excited for life, and that will rub off on you!
Make your life your own. Don't become discouraged because things aren't going your way currently. They will. Believe that they will, and work everyday to make your own success.
Most of all, keep a positive outlook on life. Forget the bad stuff going on in our government. Look for every silver lining. There is always something positive to find, even if you have to search for it.

Wife and I went into Lowe's a few weeks ago (damn snowmobile broke down across the street on the trail and i needed a bolt/nut and a tool) and got a dirty look from a random Karen. After we said our hi's to the employees, wife decided to go look at flowers (because they will hold up for the hour ride home...on said snowmobile....in 20* weather) As I was finding my bolt/nut combo, wife was attacked by said Karen, yelling at her about not wearing a mask.
I did not know about this until we were out of the store, where i turned on a dime, and went searching for Karen. Made sure she was aware that it is NOT ok to talk to my wife like that, and she can take her mask back home, where she should have been this whole time if shes that scared.
I don't believe that it was filmed, but who knows. Not one employee of Lowes stepped in, or gave me any shit for it. Karen will think twice about attacking women when their husbands aren't around. bitch!

I see your point, that they aren't manufacturing. However, they will still be responsible for the purchase order. My company makes what we have orders for. If a distributor that i have sends a PO for 15 machines, and gets stuck with 10 because he couldn't sell them, thats not on me. I'm still owed that money.

We have a Labor Day party every year. Good time, have a big bbq with a metric ton of meat. Invitations went out for last years event, with the announcement that 'masks were not allowed on the property'.
Everyone came, except 1. Citing the mask rule on our property, and we haven't seen her since.
