I’m a rookie Texas peace officer. I became a cop when I saw the direction the country was headed in, and wanted to do something to help. All police face difficult decisions every day, to enforce laws even though some seem arbitrary or short sighted.
I will say this: I’ve never taken someone’s rights away. I’ve only ever fulfilled people’s rights. You have the right to not incriminate yourself, you have the right to be secure from unreasonable searches and seizures, you have the right to a speedy trial, and I work hard every day to make sure those rights are upheld.
Some people on td.win are understandably upset with police, as are lots of other citizens all across this country I love. But we’re still holding the line, still fulfilling the oath we’ve taken.

It doesn’t increase how many immigrants we take in, only removes restrictions on where they can come from. Immigration levels remain the same.
That bill removes nationality quotas, making our immigration policy that much more merit based. That seems pretty based to me.

I like Ted Cruz. He’s a really based and stand up guy, and hasn’t been bought or sold by anybody.

This is America. We don’t execute people for lying, like some despot. We should, however, see him fired and prosecuted
