I said, "hell yeah, I'd love the government to pay for my subscription to pornhub"

I have this cousin who always jumps on people for fat shaming, misgendering, cultural appropriation, and other things like that. She's well known in the family for starting drama but also for escalating to the point where people just let her win.

Her side of the family are liberals but even they know to treat her with the kid gloves. If you don't, she ruins dinners, ruins everyone's birthday, etc.

So Thanksgiving I was expecting this would happen again, as my side of the family is much more conservative than hers and of course climate change and transgenderism and Trump would come up.

Shockingly she didn't jump down anyone's throat and instead just argued like a human being. Smiling all the time because of the fun she was having, or the fun that we were all having. This is the first time any of us could have fun arguing because she didn't throw a tantrum. And sure we didn't see fully eye to eye but maybe that's what makes America great, is when people can entertain each other's viewpoint without accepting it or breaking down.

When things had died down it was just me and her and I asked her what changed. Well, it turns out that she had a roommate this year who was an even crazier SJW that was always jumping down HER throat for little slip ups. Seeing how stupid the roommate looked sent her on a journey of self discovery and she realized why she couldn't hold a boyfriend despite being cute and smart and funny - her SJW culthood pushed everyone away.

So, seeing her youth slipping away from her she made a change to be more forgiving and welcoming. Immediately that had an impact at work, where she was promoted to be a lead. Well, that did it - Dealing with employees trying to pull SJW shit on her totally cured her.

I even mentioned the three transgender people at my work and how two of them are great (the ones in my management tree) but the third one of them is just a piece of shit like her roommate and also bad at her job but we can't fire her because she's transgender. Two years ago my cousin wouldn't have even let any criticism of a transgender person slide but this year she joined right in on the bashing of this person as a bad employee.

I'm so happy right now. When were were little we loved each other so much and now it's been 10 years since she turned SJW and we stopped talking. I finally have my cousin back.
