Commiefornian here. This state sucks dick. Look up prop 16 if you want to vomit. It’s endorsed by literally everyone.

Taylor went on to continue working in the medical field. At the time of her death, she was working for UofL Health as an ER technician.

This is actually scary that you’re being upvoted. A reasonable person can oppose things like affirmative action, but if you start going against MLK and the concept of judging people as individuals instead of their skin, you’ve lost me.

It may have had a big impact, but the act itself is basically a footnote. You can know every other detail about what happened here and not know about what Sullivan did and you'd be about equally pissed off. That's what I mean when I say it's a small detail.

Alright, bud. Sorry you missed the very obvious joke. Hope whatever you're going through gets better. I'll say a prayer for you tonight, sarcen1776.

No, I didn't think you conceded defeat, I said you're coming off as very hostile because you keep telling me to "fuck off" and calling me a freeloader. I think I've been pretty polite this entire conversation, save for what I thought would be clearly understood as a tongue-in-cheek comment, so it doesn't seem to me that the level of hostility is warranted. It's possible that something else is going on in your life that is causing you to be more upset than you should be. So I asked as much. There's no ill-will here, man, I'm not playing games with you. I'm just trying to remember that you're a human being, even if you just look like some text on a screen.

Not sure where the hostility is coming from. Part of what drove me away from the democrat party was this insistence that the issues they cared about and spent all their time frothing about were so unbelievably important that if I wasn't up-to-date on every little detail, I was failing my duty to the Country or some shit. It's exhausting and annoying. Please don't be like that.

Relative to the rest of the details, from what I've read in the last hour Sullivan is a pretty small detail. Feel free to prove me wrong. I welcome that kind of stuff.

I also don't think the fact that we work similar amounts changes anything. I also have one day a week where I turn off my phone/computer/TV to get away from the craziness and focus on more important things like the people around me (highly recommend it, btw. Technology is great but so is taking a break from it).

Judge Sullivan's involvement in this is a pretty small detail. No need to be hostile, dude, I said I have a job and can't keep up with everything. That should be a good thing, not a reason to call me "part of the problem." Chill

Freeloader? I've been with T_D since before the election, and have given more than my fair share of hours into this community, on top of plenty of cash to the Trump campaign, I'd be willing to bet a lot more than you have.

I am grateful! (To the people who actually do provide context). There's a lot of misinformation out there and the people who take the time to help us find the right primary sources are the real heroes.

I do plenty of my own research, but wouldn't you agree there's a lot going on right now? It's ok to have help sometimes. No individual has time to search for all the relevant primary sources on every issue (primary sources which are NEVER linked to by most media outlets), let alone then dig through them. I'm just asking for some assistance doing my due diligence, because I'm trying to make the best use of my limited time. Long ago I had infinite time to go full autism on this stuff, but now I have a job and other obligations, so I can't do that as much as I used to.
