My liberal Dem ex used to say dems have no values and therefore should not be held to any, whereas, repubs having values means they should be held to them. I used to think that was just his viewpoint. Over the years I have come to see it as truth for most dems.

Today's feminism has NOTHING to do with the original. When it started, women were "allowed" to work as a teacher, nurse, secretary, waitress, and a few others. Being a doctor, lawyer, scientist, etc, was frowned upon. It was about not being limited if you had interests and abilities outside of the accepted roles. And yes, there were some exceptions, but they were usually frowned upon. Today's feminism is just psychotic.

My liberal ex was rarely happy. If something good came his way, it was never good enough. If something bad came his way, he was bitter beyond proportion. The only time he was truly happy is when he was trying to cause trouble for someone who WAS happy.

Well, the dems want to cancel the ACB hearings because of covid. Imo, we should accommodate them and skip to the vote. She has been through hearings for Federal appointment.
