They'll start by extending an olive branch. Then they'll pass onerous gun laws, which the media will carry water for as only affecting extremists owning weapons of war and mass slaughter. They already have their plan for this, with $200 NFA registration for each item or $10,000 fine + 10 years in prison for each infraction.
They'll then use the law to send police to do their dirty work for them. If police refuse, or comply but are met with unified resistance, they'll try to order the military to do it.
If you think the left is going to have Antifa/BLM go toe to toe with you, you're wrong, perhaps fatally. They're going to twist the law to get you to have to draw down on police and military, or surrender. That's what they want. We count 1/10th of the military among our ranks, the nation's most important port, one of the most important central intercontinental airports, a significant portion of petroleum infrastructure, multiple defense contractors, top tier semiconductor fabrication, half the supersonic nuclear bomber fleet, if we were our own country we could join OPEC and would be one of the world's largest petroleum exporters, and our state rifle association has so much clout it gets generally 95% of its agenda passed with the blessing of the people, who are the most heavily armed free populace on the planet.
