You can debate the specifics of hero’s and try to poke holes in the legends, but what I learned from China is that we need them. China has virtually no legends or role models to look up to. I think that is one of the reasons they seem to have far less regard for their fellow countrymen who are not family. I’ve heard and seen some callous behavior in them Chinese streets. Torturing then eating doggos don’t help either lol!
