That isn't what she says though? She's talking about autism-like symptoms in rare cases of mitochondrial disorders and specifically says that there are 15 studies which have concluded there is no link between vaccines and autism.

It doesn't look like this is true. The only source from it I can find is the Daily Mail (and later, the Daily Star, which copied the Daily Mail and is just as "reputable") and the original article says it was revealed by a Russian newspaper, which, when I checked on the Russian newspaper's website, doesn't appear to be true.

I'm not disagreeing but how do you mean? There would still be school shootings even if everyone had guns, right? Sometimes the problem is just crazy people.

I really appreciate a response like this. People are people, whether or not we agree with them. I don't even know how to feel about seeing so many hundreds of comments glad about the deaths of people just because they are politically not the same.

No, I know not all of them are charity workers or people running away from war, but I know that a lot of them are. Some of the refugee stuff is absolutely legit. There was a guy who lived on the same road as a refugee from Iran whose face was messed up because he was beaten up by the police and had his teeth smashed out by them for political protests - he had become a Christian, and would legit have been killed in Iran for it. So, him and his wife and 4-year-old moved here. In the reality of that situation, where your family and you would be murdered for going home, I can't say I wouldn't do the same thing. I knew this guy for like 2 years (he sadly died of leukaemia), it was really a genuine case.

If awful things happen to you, and the people that you love, I hope your enemies do not say the same thing about you.

I'm so thankful to see one actual sane comment on here. I am a Christian too, and I believe in a loving God who tells us to love our enemies. But I know not everyone here is a Christian, and that's fine - but this kind of hate can't consume us. I know this is supposed to be a "high energy rally" but this community is becoming dangerous. Not like people think, we're not gonna go out and murder someone, but... I feel like this kind of thinking is just dangerous for who we are on the inside.

Are... Are we really taking pleasure in people, including children, dying now? Charity workers and people running away from war? I think I've probably had enough of this site.

Edit: I'm sure this will be downvoted into oblivion, but I would love it if with each downvote, each person who does can try to justify this position in a meaningful way.

Edit 2: I get the impression that the people who love this do not actually grasp the reality of this situation. I want you to imagine just this first scenario. A boat filled with children, some as young as five years old. Imagine a five year old on a boat, thrown overboard, struggling to breathe in water filling with the blood of his family, then torn apart by teeth, one piece at a time, still alive. Five years old, knowing he is being eaten alive. Is this a beautiful thing, like the post claims? Is this the America that we want to fight for, where we revel in this? That is the reality of what has happened. If you can look at that and claim that it's beautiful, then I don't want anything to do with you. You will push so many people away from this cause with that kind of sick thinking.

Yes and a poll conducted on this site would find 100% approval rating. That doesn't mean it's actually meaningful, numbers like that never exist in reality if it's any kind of worthwhile poll.

There is good and bad to anyone. I'm not sure what possible level of good could undo the millions of deliberate murders.

Would you care for some truth of your own? If not that, I can provide you with a hundred others like it.

I'm not going to watch your 2 hour video, because it wouldn't do any good (and besides, it's debunking a documentary anyway - I have no problem with the idea that a specific documentary might not be real) but it blows my mind when people like you act like the Nazis did nothing wrong, or that it was all a lie. How can you possibly explain all of the testimonies from the survivors, or even the perpetrators? youtube.com/watch?v=-NpF3jGmKOM

Just because the Nazis did a decent job of covering up some of their crimes (but not most of them...) and the evidence hasn't all survived the last 80 years, does not mean that it's all a lie. You're happy to accept things that happen today based on far less evidence.

but rejected GOP-led efforts to amend the legislation to alert law enforcement authorities when gun buyers, including illegal immigrants, fail those background checks.

So... it's not actually about illegal immigrants at all. It's about all gun buyers, including illegal immigrants. I'm not sure why the article has chosen to focus on them but the law is not specific to any group.
