Atlanta does have bad press at the moment but the city itself is doing very well and so are the people who live here. I drive a tow truck and I get around town and I see now hiring signs everywhere. You'll find out info because tow guys are not afraid of anything or anybody, I'd be willing to bet they towed those vehicles to a secured location and not the normal tow lot, If they didn't tow them back to the county lot. then this was taken over by feds...if thats the case then we know something happened, keep us informed
