No no no, the CHAZ investigated itself and found no wrong doing.

God damnit this. I've recently became a 'lead' of a small software team and get the pleasure of being around higher ups. The disconnect, uselessness, self-congradulatory, misguided direction from this level of business is destroying everything

No one is claiming the virus is a hoax. Much of the response has been the hoax.

From retirement homes housing sick patients, to questionable reporting of death counts, much of the response has been more for show than for results. The USA narrative is crafted to smear Trump

They don't 'pay them off', but if someone gives a bad review they sure as hell will never receive another advance copy again. For a AAA that's a big insentive to soft ball any negative feedback

It's a small park filled with hipster/anarchists... Let's not blow it out of proportion. The murder/chopping/bagging almost certainly wasn't in the CHAZ.

Don't get sucked into the hype. The CHAZ is a unsanctioned block party with some protestors mixed in

How many cities have whole neighborhoods of downsyndrome people? Who's to say they would not develop a violent culture over the course of 50 years?

I live near there. These people have no long term plan and very little organization. Its already fizzlin out on its own. Trying to fight it would just give them a unified purpose. As it stands they already been attacking their own and hitting social media begging for donations

Ooh juicy.

They use terms like 'freeing resources'. Would be great if there were some resources nearby they might want to free.

The best way to beat these groups is to lose community support which will happen naturally as they offer nothing back to the community besides homeless and drugs

This is a good point. It is important to continue evangelizing on Reddit and the rest of the web and facebook and real life.

At the end of the day this site is largly an insurance policy that if the Reddit ban hammer drops we do not lose the ability to communicate and coordinate

Indeed. I was always fearful real-world people would discover my Reddit activity. I live in a deep blue state, and support of this president would literally cost me my job

Hrm... Actually, as a fully realized adult I have absolutely tried all 3... As well as several others.

Happy to report I am still a fully functional member of society with no addictions or health issues to speak of.

Marijuana is legal in my state and I know several prior small time dealers who have moved onto real jobs after the bottom fell out of their market. I also know a handful of people making real good money within the legal market.

National legalization would likely be a net benefit for society.

Additionally I would not advocate meth legalization.

At the end of the day I I would understand legalizing ALL drugs would be detrimental to society, but at the same time I believe we need to let some people fail unfortunately. Painful as it would be.

Should we make alcohol and caffeine illegal too then? Slippery slopes go both ways.
