I do have an awful lot of really good backpacking equipment there which I figure would make a nice bug out bag or 3. Maybe the best option for us is to hide in the woods since we live in such a crappy blue county.

I live in Mecklenburg Cty and it's overwhelming blue here. Just where I live you have to have an iron constitution to remain red in the face of all of the criticism you'll receive. Hell my own wife sent for two mail in ballots... I told her to throw those things away we were voting in person and we were voting Trump. Well I did my part, and after some intense questioning it turns out she sent hers in and supposedly threw mine away ... and voted for Biden.
So yeah I'm at a personal impasse right now. Do I tear apart my family over this or do I look the other way.

Cooper can get fucked talking about another lockdown. I've been laid off over a year now since last July, doing contract work to get by thankfully my wife still has a job. Things are looking up and I have some interviews lined up, but it's work where I need to be on site and with travel. If they lock us down again I'm screwed...
