Common sense is not so common. I would even say that Christians in the west can sometimes behave similar to casual muslims: Indifferent and ignorant of their respective holy books, yet will quickly and passionately freak out when they're told that their [insert religion/ideology here] is under attack by [insert undesirables here].
It's herd mentality at its finest.
For the record I agree that Islam makes a total of 0 sense. Anybody who does actually know their Koran and isn't a radical muslim is in fact not muslim at all BY THE FREAKING BOOK'S OWN DEFINITION.
I screwed up my edit which was a comment beneath saying "yeah, seems peaceful to me"". I was proving to the asshat I replied to that it was not a religion of peace. Calm yourself right down, It's a quote from their book proving that Islam is distinctly violent in it's most basic forms.

Hey guys, here's a fact that makes this post pointless: There's no distinction of Christians. Either you are a Christian (Having accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior), or you are not. Another thing to note is that we (people) don't have the ability to 100% "certify" somebody as saved (Or Christian)-- only God can accurately see someones true intent. However, we as people can look at the way the individuals behave (actions and words) and compare them to (NT) Biblical behavioral standards to see if they practice what they preach. This is not 100% effective, as anybody can be deceived by words and actions. How many people do you know who were "outed" as false Christians or massive hypocrites?
We can only (and should only) take care of our own faith, and leave the questions of others' faith to God.

Either way, here's a tip: If you find yourself on the winning side of conflict, it's considered good manners to not behave childishly and/or rudely. That way you look like a decent person, and can learn to live peacefully with your fellow man regardless of (relatively) trivial ideas. Just think about how much better the world might be if we all learned that lesson.
