Talking with my family members over Christmas about the potential stimulus made me want to bang my head against a wall. "Trump vetoed the stimulus bill and now the military might run out of funding."
It's like, no, the veto is to quickly renegotiate the stimulus amount during this week.
The same reason he wants to grant amnesty and allow mass immigration: votes for his party. He lets them in, and bribes them with taxpayer dollars. And if we see the return of terrorist attacks like the recent beheading in France, well, that's just a sacrifice Biden and the elites behind him are willing to make.
Her speech is inconsistent. First she says "we should compete on equal footing" and then says "equitable treatment means we all end up at the same place" in the very next sentence. What is the point of competition if you're just going to force the same end result, regardless of individual ability?

This is going to balloon our spending on social services, oversaturate the labor market, and drive down wages. What a deal, they're buying millions of new voters with our money, giving the tech oligarchs everything they want, and leaving us to rot.
I think she doesn't want to do that because she wants to force her more partisan bailouts to be lumped in with the stimulus. If the stimulus checks were to be passed as a single item on a bill, then she thinks republicans will never agree to the bailouts. I don't really get what she's playing at though. Even if Joe Biden were to win this election and dems win big in the house and senate, is she really just going to wait out the lame duck session to pass a stimulus with everything she wanted in January?
I bet the person that made this site uses the same reasoning that the guy who wrote an article publishing Tucker Carlson's home address did: "We're just posting a fact, for no apparent reason. Our political opponent just so happens to live at this address with their family, and we are making this information widely available so our readers can say, 'Huh, what an interesting fact!' and then move on with their lives'".

Why would anyone in their right mind try to run a business in Portland? You're practically guaranteed to get your windows smashed in at the least and potentially burned from the inside out. Do they really make enough money that the high risk of property damage is worth it?
I think the worst type of sacrifice had to do with the child sacrifices the Aztecs performed to help bring rain to their crops. They specifically believed that the children had to be in great pain and crying prior to their sacrifice to really please one of their gods.
Tlaloc is the god of rain, water, and earthly fertility. The Aztecs believed that if sacrifices were not supplied for Tlaloc, rain would not come, their crops would not flourish, and leprosy and rheumatism, diseases caused by Tlaloc, would infest the village.
Archaeologists have found the remains of at least 42 children sacrificed to Tlaloc at the Great Pyramid of Tenochtitlan. Many of the children suffered from serious injuries before their death, they would have to have been in significant pain as Tlaloc required the tears of the young as part of the sacrifice.
