From what i understand, the virus is only transmissible through the respiratory system, thats why you can eat food that has been prepared by someone with covid and the only way you'd get it is if you somehow stuffed it up your nose or breathed it in.

Masks help reduce the spread of covid by limiting the particles that are released into the open air, however they don't do much of anything to stop one from breathing in Covid once its already in the air if all you are wearing is a regular mask, N95 respirators however filter out 95% of airborne particles including respiratory droplets (from sneezing and coughing) as well as aerosolized droplets.

To say masks are useless is misleading, but if one person with covid is sneezing and doesn't have a regular mask, everyone might get it from that guy even if they are wearing one.

If you believe that the election was stolen, then nothing is going to change until it gets fixed. How exactly is that going to happen?

The truth is that you don't need a new party to change republicans, when 95% of the republican base is pro Trump, everyone who is anti-Maga can easily be thrown out of office, but even if you turn every neocon seat into a Maga seat instead, it still won't matter if the same thing that happens in 2020 happens in other elections.

I know what im about to say next isn't going to be very popular, but if theres a possibility that election interference/cheating didn't have as big of an impact on the election as people on this forum seem to think it did, and that the reason Trump lost is because of 4 years of dragging his name through the mud and generating the "hate" vote, Trump running again might be a repeat of 2020 based on the residual hate.

Is this movement about the man or about the idea? Because if its about the idea, it behooves you to find a more articulate candidate who won't step on his dick quite as often as Trump did, because without that hate vote, Trump (or anyone else) absolutely wins in a fair election.

You need to approach future campaigns as if both things are true, because if you just complain that everything was stolen then you'll ignore efforts to shift the party into something that can win legitimate votes from people who actually voted for Biden, once you get into office, you can enact your policy, but you need to get there first by any means necessary.

I don't care how charismatic my leader is, so long as he does what i fucking want and hes effective at spreading a message.

How the US handles diplomacy with Taiwan will determine what direction the Japanese military takes. Japan is already the 4th largest military in the world despite the fact that technically aren't suppose to have a military. It would take Japan about a week to develop nuclear weapons and a matter of months to convert their existing military into a more aggressive force.

The US is suppose to handle the regional conflicts so that Japan doesn't have to rewrite their constitution to allow itself to have a standing military again. If the US stood back and did nothing while Taiwan was invaded Japan would be well within it's rights to cancel alliances with the US and kick all of the soldier's out of Okinawa. We'd lose all credibility in the pacific which, lets be honest, is the biggest reason to have a hegemonic naval force at this point.

China would need assurances that the US wouldn't intervene, because if the try to take Taiwan and fail, it might be the end of the leadership in China.

Taiwan did better than any other nation with Covid.

Cmon, did you really expect Belichick to accept this award? He coaches a team with 80% black people, some of whom have very strong views on social justice, hes also in a league that expects everyone to toe the line when it comes to messaging on social justice.

Bill's first responsibility is to his team, and this was an obstacle. Once the nomination was made, Belichick had to make a statement about it one way or another, putting him in a tough spot.

Trump should have called him and asked him if he wanted it so this whole thing could be avoided. Belichick is not some social justice maniac, he is a Trump supporter, but as he states, recent events would amplify accepting this award to such a level that it would surely interfere with the team's efforts.

Getting rid of 230 would be a disaster. It needs to be altered, not removed. There is proposed legislation to target big tech "new town square" parts of the internet, without 230, small websites wouldn't be able to endure the inevitable, unending deluge of frivolous lawsuits from snowflakes with money.

Just no.

Repealing section 230 is a really bad idea. The big tech giants have a room full of lawyers to rapidly dismiss frivolous lawsuits, furthermore, AI would be developed to further censor the internet to prevent anything offensive from being posted.

The small online business wouldn't be able to survive as people sue for literally everything these days.

There is proposed legislation to repeal sections of 230 for a select minority of megacorps who hold all the keys to the new public square (Facebooks, Twitter, Google), this would be infinitely better than repealing 230 in it's entirety, which would change the internet as we know it permanently, and for the worse.

This is a complicated subject which needs to be approached delicately, nothing would make big tech happier than regulatory capture that disproportionately harms free market competition. This is precisely why Net Neutrality is bad, it's the same idea, the barrier to entry is raised and thus, competition (which is bad for the businesses and stockholders but great for the average consumer ) is locked out.

When big businesses compete for our business, we win. When a Monopoly is in control, we lose. Being the only game in town is worth much more to Google than having to pay higher taxes.

Trump made a joke earlier about kissing all the men (and women) in the audience, hope those drugs he was taking for Covid wasn't the same stuff that makes all the frogs gay.

Agreed on the first and third, but some laws are bullshit. Alot of traffic laws are technically misdemeanors, such as reckless driving, which is 15 miles over the speed limit.

NOBODY in my town obeys the speed limit and if you aren't "Reckless driving" then you aren't actually moving your car.

ACB did her job, the msm has been blasting Catholism all week, now Trump can get the catholic, female and Hispanic vote by nominating Lagoa.

The vast majority of people are politically disengaged which seems hard to believe given the day and age we live in, but its true, it always has been.

It is also true that most people vote based upon how a candidate makes them feel. Some people like Trump's strong man attitude, but alot of people get upset that he tells it like it is and can seem crude if the only side you are seeing is the one the media lets you see.

Trump has alot more politically engaged people, the politically engaged people who support Biden are typically far left maniacs who see Trump as literally hitler.

I think Trump will win for two reasons. Trump voters are MUCH more enthusiastic than Biden voters and also, the perception that Biden has this in the bag will cause the politically disengaged to mostly stay home, however, the secret trump voter and the fact that races are much closer in battleground states where it actually matters tells me that Biden voters are falling into a false sense of security.

If mail in voting wasn't a thing i wouldn't have any doubts about the outcome, but mail in voting makes it so much easier for the ignorant, tepid voters to get out there and vote, it also obviously creates a big opportunity for fraud.

More like a combat medic. Also notice he doesn't have gloves on in this video, perhaps he put them on to help someone, but wasn't able to take them off before the beginning of the incidents.

This interview was conducted way back in July, Imagine having to put out fires from the VP only two weeks after selecting them.

I guarantee you'll see this clip again in ads, especially now that the Democrats have suddenly been against rioting this entire time.
