Actually, I am grateful that it was sleet and snow. Our forecast was for freezing rain and didn't get it. That would have been a whole new level of fucked. If power lines would have went down due to ice then the week without electricity could have easily been a month or more.

I'm surprised that is doesn't specify someone who was twice acquitted and has walked in N Korea's DMZ.

Part of the problem is that Texas can handle it fine. Ercot (5 of the members aren't even Texas residents) have to get permission from the feds to increase their production because it would violate pollution restrictions. Granted some of the weather did catch some behind but the weather was so unusual. Not much different than 90 degree temps making people up north thinking the world is ending. Some good lessons were learned, namely what Ercot is really doing and who all has control in the decision making. With TEXIT becoming so popular this was good timing for those lessons as well. Texans also got first hand knowledge that wind and solar should supplement, not backup.

I don't need or want a fema generator although I paid for it. I don't want or need guvment cheese even though I paid for it. All I want is for Ercot's yankee board members to get fucked and be replaced by Texans. I want Texas to ignore begging the feds to increase their output and crank up the electricity. I want to build about 4 more nuclear reactors, keep coal and gas as a reliable backup. If they want to keep the windmills and solar to teach the kids stuff, fine but they aren't reliable during hard times and should only be used as a supplement.

Yes, we have two. We need more. Not only do reactors provide cheap reliable energy but they employ a lot of people as well.

Texas having it's own grid is a major motivator for TEXIT supporters. Take away that and you take away some of the movements steam.

I quit TV a couple of decades ago. Sometimes at work they have it on in the lunch room, the propaganda just oozes from the idiot box. It reminds me of the TV stuff in late 80's dystopian movies.

He probably made it bigger so we could see it.

They are not exposing, they are normalizing. Preparing you for the next level in the coming elections.

Communism, fascism, socialism, it's all total government.

This^. Yes there will be many more abuses before people in mass are willing to stand up and band together. We need to keep them at the forefront and in peoples minds, otherwise they just fade away.

It's all planned. Some walk back their treason, posture and get all indignant to sway the simple minded from leaving.

Yup, FBI, ATF, Department of Ed, and TSA would be a good start.

They've already reduced the amount of down votes. They were all sitting around 9K just a few minutes ago, about 4 hours after this post was put up.

Funny, I was just there and all the down votes were much lower. It's like they can't help but manipulate the votes.

There's probably no one on that stage that hasn't smoked crack or diddled a kid once in their life.
