I disagree with your take and thats ok because thats the issue with eschatology is that its very symbolic and interpretative and many generations have interpreted revelation to fit the circumstances of their own time and ended up being incorrect. If theres one constant for interpreting end times prophecy its that if you’re 100% sure of what something represents or is an allegory for then you are doing it wrong. There are multiple ways to view Revelation and the end times and the best anyone can say is “This could be the case but it also may not be”
Good argument. Eschatology isnt some interpretative dance when you can just make it about whatever you want it to be. Just because a city in America shares the name of a Ancient city in Asia Minor (modern day Turkey) doesn't mean that passage is about the city in Pennsylvania. Those were addressed to the seven early churches and were dealing with issues of that day and yes, they also have future implication but the name of the churches dont necessarily correspond with a city named the same name right now. Otherwise where is the Ephesus or Sardis in America to compare those passages to our current day issues to....if theyre not in America are those just not called by the same name? Sorry brother but youre doing what a lot of people applying prophetic scripture to a specific modern circumstance and assuming its referencing those circumstances just because it shares a name and mentions something that seems to fit the description of an event or feeling from right now.

There are things that have ended up coming true when there were trips but also things that dont...so its more of a superstition on 4chan than anything...and it can end up being funny like someone might say “Trips if Clinton really is a devil worshiper” and then if it ends up getting trips everyone gets excited and/or laughs...
When a post has “trips” on 4chan its referring to the last 3 digits of the number randomly generated for that post....The post could be assigned any random number but if the last three digits are the same number its sort of like saying whatever is in the post will come true. People have made a game out of it saying stuff like “Trips and Trump gets re-elected” and posting it to see if they did in fact get trips
