"President Donald Trump issued another round of pardons on Wednesday to sixteen people, including his former campaign manager Paul Manafort, his sometimes adviser Roger Stone, and his son-in-law Jared Kushner’s father, Charlie Kushner.
Charlie Kushner was prosecuted in 2005 by former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who was New Jersey’s Attorney General at the time. Kushner, a top donor to Democrats, plead guilty to 18 counts of tax evasion, witness tampering, and making illegal campaign donations.
He admitted hiring a prostitute to lure his brother-in-law into having sex in a Bridgwater, New Jersey, hotel and sent the video of it to his wife, in an effort to prevent him from cooperating in the investigation.
Charlie Kushner served 14 months of a two-year sentence in an Alabama prison before he was released in April 2006. Jared Kushner cites visiting his father in prison as an influence for pursuing the issue of criminal justice reform."

Carmichael can't get the reporter to reveal her sources for a story containing allegations that the vote was fixed and ballots tampered with, even though the reporter's life is at risk. Without the source, McCoy and Carmichael have a difficult time making a case against the Senator, who they believe has ties to the mob and ordered the hit on the reporter.
The case hinges on 2000 missing ballots from the vote that were stolen by the mob. Once the ballots are found, there is a court battle over whether or not they should be counted. McCoy believes that the ballots will show Benton's motive for ordering the hit, but an appellate court won't allow it, so their case is virtually dead. In the end, McCoy is able to convince the reporter to reveal her source and have him testify against the senator."

2010 -- Sharron Angle wins NV GOP primary for US Senate. She flies to DC to meet GOP leaders. In Mitch's office, he says to her, "I can WORK with Harry Reid!"
I heard this story directly from Sharron in late 2010.
Sharron Angle is a strict constitutional conservative who hired John Eastman (yes, THAT John Eastman) to take her 2003 case to SCOTUS . She was suing her own legislature, the NV governor, and the NV Supreme Court for violating their own NV state constitution -- same argument as PA change of election laws. She eventually won when new NV supreme court reversed prior decision, restoring rule of law in NV.
EDIT: She also carried a Glock, and won the NV state weightlifting championship in her weight class.
