Joe probably doesn't remember this, he's not quite sure what state he's in most of the time, but in 1983, Joe Biden joined a bipartisan effort to make 50% of Social Security benefits taxable, for those above a certain income. This new revenue would go towards what everyone now knows is a fictional Social Security "trust fund". In reality of course that money is spent immediately like all other sources of revenue. But he didn't just tax it once. How could he resist? In 1993, Biden joined a purely partisan effort to narrowly pass an Omnibus Bill intended to "lower the deficit". Included in this large package was a bill that changed the level of taxable Social Security benefits from 50% to 85%. This new revenue would be directed to another "trust fund" for Medicare. Joe Biden is the one who voted to steal our senior citizens' Social Security checks, by taxing them away. President Trump has never said anything about cutting Social Security. Why would he?
How many more months or years will we have to keep wearing these damn masks? How many months or years until we can start going back to work? I just found out this week that we will not be opening our office until sometime next year. And most likely not until a vaccine is available. Which means we will all be forced to take the vaccine before being allowed back to work.
I was talking to my neighbor about this and he said, would you want to be the person at your company who orders everyone back to the office only to have someone get sick and die? That persons family would OWN that business. So unless we get some kind of legal protection what business is going to risk opening their office doors?
