Yes, the story is real, the lead in picture I posted may or may not have been altered...

And works flawlessly in Linux, which I use for my daily driver. I use Gimp for most photo manipulation-meme tpye of stuff and Krita for any actual drawing- it has better pressure brush control (for using a drawing tablet) and vector line capability, etc.
