Glad these dipshits are sinking Joe for now, but I think this is just the beginning. When Trump wins and he's out of office in '24 we have an even bigger fight ahead of us. Regular Democrats like Joe are just evil elite dipshits, but they used to believe money is finite. The future of their party is evil elite dipshits who think money is infinite because one economist at UCLA published a paper on Modern Monetary Theory and they took it as gospel, and even bigger dipshits like the person who Tweeted this will be backing them 100%. Remember when Joe supported a balanced budget amendment? Yeah, that's how fucking far left the Dems have moved in such a short amount of time.

2010s+ have produced some pretty interesting sounds though. They're just not very well-known. Rock and metal are the most diverse genres still, you can find pretty much any sound combinations in a band these days, but the good music doesn't make the Billboard top garbage lists and is hard to find. I saw these guys live on vacation in Germany a few years back and that was really fun

Harvard is a country club for politicians' children to get degrees without learning anything, I don't want a dime of my money going to them. If you're a poor person and manage to get in on scholarship, good luck... all of your classmates will be threatening to get money pulled from their Professors' home cities in the next budget when they get an F. And unfortunately that's not an exaggeration. Their student body also protested against Mankiw teaching there because he was teaching "radical ideas" like minimum wage causing unemployment. They signed up for his Econ classes just to schedule a walk-out and not attend. What a fucking joke.

$30 an hour? Are you fucking serious? Are you blind? GAJILLIONS will die if you only raise it to $30 an hour. We need a $100 an hour minimum wage. And guess what else? If you kill a gajillion people, guess who you also kill? Black people. Confirmed for mass-murderer racist. Hitler was also a mass-murderer racist. Curious.

... r/politics will be right back after this short ad break.

I assume and hope he is following this up as a double-edged sword. Abe is a smart ally who was distrustful of China all along. "We'll pay your one-time costs to move back here, and then you sure as fuck aren't going back or we're bringing down the hammer." You could be right though, but Trudeau is more of a cuck so that's expected of him.

Regardless I'm hopeful that this is going to set a precedent. If the public is on board and we can get BoJo to get England on board, we can be a lot more effective in pushing what GEOTUS has wanted all along.

If your campaign relies solely on young people voting en masse... go ahead and quit right there. It didn't seem like the DNC even had to use any tricks to knock him out, he just fucking sucked.

I think the only truth Hillary Clinton has ever told was when she said no one in Washington likes Bernie. His fanbase is filled with rabid morons who have the dumbest political strategy conceivable: attack pro-life Democrats who won in districts we won in 2016, and call Democrats who wants just a little more Socialism murderers for not wanting full-blown Socialism. Shit man, I'm fine with that, more wins for us, but I'll concede that's dumb as fuck for the Democrats to do from a purely objective strategy perspective. I never thought Bernie had a real shot because of this. He and the "Progressive" movement are all about virtue signaling and have no idea how to form coalitions or move legislation through Congress. I think the dude has passed a few bills in his entire life, and the majority of them were renaming post offices.

It's hilarious to witness the Left destroy itself in real-time. Didn't Bernouts hate Elizabeth Warren and call her a lying snake for months because she accused him of saying a woman couldn't win the Presidency? And now they're saying "bEliEvE aLl wOmEn" suddenly over Biden. I hope some Independents are watching this shit-show and seeing how hypocritical these people are. The Democrats have never cared about "social justice" or whatever the fuck you wanna call it, it's just a weapon to aim at whoever they currently don't support.

That was my first thought. $350 million for refugee resettlement? You gotta be fucking kidding me. I expect this shit from Pelosi and the Democrats, but most R's voted to pass this too. Spineless losers need to get primaried by 'pedes.

Shit is unprecedented since FDR. Usually Presidents get one stimulus or major reform through and that's considered a significant term. Everyone always tries for more, but usually no dice. FDR's New Deal would cost about $800 billion if we did it today. Makes you wonder how bad the unemployment figures are about to look. I think most of us know someone's who's lost their job by now.

Not only that, but HIV/AIDS was, and is still considered, a pandemic. Dumb fuck knows nothing about policy or what's happening in the world, only how to indoctrinate to keep herself in power.

  1. This is for emergency stabilization measures- Socialism would mandate this indefinitely
  2. GM is being paid for the ventilators at a market value that still allows them to profit. They were trying to skim even more off the top and GEOTUS said no

Obama invoked the act around 2011 to force telecom companies to hand over information about any foreign-created software they were running. Other than that, it hasn't seen any use in the 21st century 'til the Space Force and then now.

This is awesome. I hope the open source project can make it through though. I do safety-critical systems engineering and anything you design will be lucky to take 2 years to get approved. This is a manual ventilator too so I'm not sure how widely it can be deployed. You need someone standing by it 24/7 trained to not pump your stomach to the point you puke into the bag, inhale it and die. Anything helps right now though...

This. Sanders would be boring as fuck. He turns every response into the 1000000000th iteration of his stump speech. With Biden, we get a new gem every time he opens his mouth. He will challenge GEOTUS to a push-up contest and threaten to take away his AR-14.

I completely agree. Anyone who's panicking like it's the apocalypse is a dumbass, but anyone who thinks this will be just another run of the flu isn't filtering their news that well either. The truth is somewhere in the middle, and I actually wish some of our states were doing more. FL has taken so long to close stuff that, if I were Governor of a state, I wouldn't even want to allow travel from there.

I'm in NC, commuting distance to Durham so we've been locked down for a bit. We have a blue Governor but I think his response has been proportional to the medical information given to him.

Gramps80 3 points ago +3 / -0

I said the same thing when this was posted earlier. Seems to be controversial among fellow 'pedes.

The initial report was a worst case scenario reflecting if we did absolutely nothing, but states are locking down and supplies are being purchased much quicker than previous administrations. And they've updated their projections to take account for this. Spreading the idea that GEOTUS and his people have been following a report that was fake news all along isn't good and nor do these adjustments even suggest the original report was bad.

They gave a worse case, we took action, and now they've given an update saying "good, your action is working."

Exactly. Let it play out on the Left, and if someone doesn't know you're a Trump supporter, mention it as a reason why you "can't bring yourself to vote Biden." Too fucking rich that the Left buried themselves under #BelieveAllWomen and now they'll either be exposed as partisan hypocrites and give us another 4 years, or discard their own candidate and give us another 4 years.

edit: Also, Trump needs to invite his accuser to the first Presidential debate. I'll give Shillary credit where due: Woman has ruined so many lives it's drained all emotion out of her, and she didn't seem to give a shit when Trump invited Bill's. But Joe would flip the fuck out I'd bet money. It would be the best thing ever and it'd spell doom for him from the beginning.

No, a nationwide lockdown started two days ago. Hotspots like London already had restrictions. And the UK government says the lockdown could last up to 6 months. Do you know how forecasts work? They take new circumstances into account.

Laugh now, but when the US is breathing easy after Easter and the Left is saying “WTF TRUMP BELIEVED A FAKE STUDY AND WE NEVER NEEDED SOCIAL DISTANCING” you’ll already be on their bandwagon. People do not engage with a reality they don’t physically see. If GEOTUS’ timeline is successful in preventing deaths -> nobody will see many deaths happen -> people will mindlessly jump to the conclusion that none of the lockdowns were necessary in the first place, because they never lived through the reality where we had none of them.

Yeah the claim is probably fake. She’s changed her story twice over the last few years and came forward with this new, revised claim on a SoundCloud podcast. Doubt any reputable right-leaning media thought her claim was solid enough to publish. But hell, the Democrats do this shit to us all the time. I’ll be calling Joe Biden a RAPIST to every Democrat I know regardless.

This tweet is full of shit. He didn’t get anything “totally wrong.” The Imperial College report (which this Clay guy clearly didn’t read) said 500k was the UK’s worst case scenario outlook if they did absolutely nothing, because originally the UK was opting for the let ‘er rip strategy. The UK has shut down almost everything around the country, and now the author of the study is saying “cool, after these measures I’m confident there’s gonna be enough beds and few deaths.”

Be wary of people making claims like this. They’re setting the stage to say the same about GEOTUS after Easter. “GEOTUS overreacted! He believed the Fake News!” No, he reacted and that’s why there’s gonna be few deaths. The Left is setting the stage for this, mark my words. Easy to get people to believe zero social distancing was necessary when they never see what would’ve happened without it.

The Left eats itself. They elect these morally bankrupt people into office and then back themselves into a corner when their "RAYCIST" "MISOGYNIST" rhetoric ends up exposing the very people their ideology attracts.

Assholes had the WHO saying “no evidence of human transmission”..: Trump smelled bunk in the water early but China had already done the damage. People travel to China from all over the world.

The cynic in me is thinking this was engineered to cause a second Great Depression wherein China becomes the biggest economic power on Earth with the West recovering and in shambles. Regardless if that happens or not, I want to see some swift action taken against those Commie fucks once this is over. All manufacturing back in USA or with very close allies. Clinton and Obama were FOOLS or downright evil for sending our production over there.

It’s difficult to know what the true danger is with the media shills overhyping everything, but if Trump is considering a near $2T stimulus, that at least tells me this fallout isn’t something to take lightly.

Yep. Stay vigilant and buy local in these times if you have the money to... it's gonna be a rough ride for our entrepreneurs. Small business loans are part of the package, but with states one by one getting on-board with stay-at-home orders, I'd be pretty hesitant to take one out for a while.

Gramps80 24 points ago +24 / -0

And if Trump supports the stimulus, that means spending $2 trillion is the least bad trade-off in this. That's shot up red flags for me. I'm worried if shit stays closed for more than a month or so we'll be rebuilding the economy after this, like after a war, not just bailing it out. Lots of small businesses don't profit much. If you run a business, you can pay yourself a salary, you can pay for your employees... that's a successful business by all means. And those margins are where most locally-owned businesses operate.
