Then reacted to criticism by saying, "I shouldn't have used those words." Well Chuck, what words SHOULD you have used?

We're all watching, like greedy vultures, for the Dow to hit bottom! Could this be it? We want to get those bargain stock purchases. News is that new cases in China are declining, and increases in other countries may be due to increased testing.

Now I'm no financial advisor, just saying watch.

Dear Mods, I think it might be good to shut td down now. Imo. Because Spez is using a clever strategy to whittle away at our followers. It's better to leave while we are still very famous, because it will be very newsworthy and the transition would be well-publicized. The longer we wait, and our followership continues to dwindle, the more it will be like "td who?" when we finally do it. Let's rip off the band-aid, and do it now.
