I think we all agree that the issue of climate change isn't just politics for the Left, it is a religion. In a way, it is a 'doomsday religion' with believers that believe they can prevent the doomsday. When you deny that a group's religion exists, you create a highly motivated enemy that will stop at nothing to destroy you.

Instead of denying climate change, President Trump and the GOP should have just presented the facts. Climate change is real, the Earth has experienced climate change many times during its 4.5b year history, humans are possibly contributing to climate change, we should shift away from fossil fuels (SOMETHING WE HAVE TO DO NO MATTER WHAT), climate change is slow and we have plenty of time to correct it with new technology, the Democrats are exaggerating the impact of climate change for political gain and a push towards globalism.
