This is what I have been telling people. The crowd got rowdy around 2pm or so, and congress was back in session at 9.

Do you know how they reclaimed the building, cleared it, and secured it in under 7 hours? The crowd gave it back. It wasn't a siege (as cool as that name is), it wasn't a takeover, it wasn't a hostage situation. That was never the plan. If it was, things would have gone differently.

Honestly, it made me a little bit (but only a little bit) more sympathetic toward the blm rioters. I heard the accusation multiple times that the police were inciting the violence, and I always thought it was ridiculous. I forgot that the feds are absolute scum. (I say only a little bit more sympathetic because we, as a crowd, did not give in to the incitement.)

I don't regret one single thing that I did in DC. It was a wonderful experience, and I would 100% do it again if given the chance to go back. It was mind-blowing to see the news stories come out on the drive home and see the media spin in real time. Mr Reagan is the only prominent figure I follow who had a good take on it. Absolutely filled with righteous indignation. Bless him.

The media is working extra hard to make sure that we all feel crazy and alone for our beliefs. They're wrong. They're very wrong.

I'm okay with boring. I would hate to have to work for my salvation. I am wretched through and through.

This is the correct answer. There is no way to be good enough. The book of Romans lays it all out pretty clearly.

Rom 3:23 - "For all have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God." I'll add that a good judge doesn't care if you broke a little bit of the law, or a lot of the law. The law is the law, and if it is broken, you face due punishment.

Rom 3:24, 3:28 - "Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus" followed shortly by "Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law."

Rom 10:9 - "if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation."

Going to heaven or being cast out is NOT about your personal sinfulness or how good your life was at all. It's about Jesus and His work. He loves you, He died for you, He became the way for you, He's waiting for you. According to His own word, all you have to do is ask to be carried.

I have a lot of mixed feelings about a lot of things, but one thing that we desperately need on our side is public perception.

Even my friends who I thought were based are turning around and cucking out over this. Everybody in the establishment is condemning this.

The only difference between a terrorist and a patriotic revolutionary is public perception.

I know what you mean. I was watching from the pond area while they passed the first couple barriers. My group wanted to move up to the grass to get a better view. I simply said "I need to be part of this" and broke off from the group.

AND THEN (for the sake of whatever swine at the NSA has to follow me) I DID NOTHING AND WENT HOME IMMEDIATELY AND ALSO DID NOTHING

I think I was watching the OAN stream. There were another 4500 there.

Leaving Maine after work Tuesday and driving through the night. We'll even have time for a nap!

Oh I'll be bringing at least 2. I'm quite certain I'll stand out in a crowd.

Is that the most effeminate man in the world, or an ugly woman with a bad name? Woman pretending she's a man?

I really wish my entire family and all of my support structures weren't in Maine. It's cold, blue, and Godless up here. I want to leave but not so badly that I'm willing to throw away everything to do it.

I'm just going to continue being kind and loving everyone and hopefully build my own little pocket of red.

Do they not understand that rioting is about whether or not you have something to lose?

Lefties can riot all summer long because they're worthless to society. No jobs, no skills, no property, nothing to lose if they get arrested. They live in pure decadence provided by others, so getting out and rioting poses very little risk.

I have a future to worry about. I have a job that I would like to keep. I would like to earn enough to buy a home. I would like to overcome all odds and societal degeneracy to find a wife and start a family.

If you take away my country, you take away my future. Do they honestly think that if I have nothing left to lose, I'm just going to disappear into the night? Cornered animals are dangerous animals.

But do they mean it this time? They said before that they would do this, but it was a bunch of lies.

Oh boy, the FBI are involved.

I bet they're gonna find that the "ongoing cybersecurity campaign" is originating from a KFC somewhere. Better confiscate everything just to be safe.

For real. In my life, I think I've met one gal who was single and also worth committing to. It's really easy to give empty platitudes like "work out" or "try looking in a church". What do people think my plan has been?? I'm trying.

Any gal worth her salt is probably getting married straight out of high school. I'm 27, so I'm watching in real time as my proverbial dating pool becomes higher and higher percentage (to put it bluntly) worthless women.

If I had a PhD, I would probably demand people call me doctor, but only if they understand I am doing it ironically with full understanding of how obnoxious I am for doing it.

I already do kind of the same thing with my sister. We both went to college, but I got a master's. Sometimes I settle disagreements with "Well I do have a master's."

I hate Maine so much. I wish I could leave this place without leaving my entire family.
