Everyone was busy building out new buzzword ridden Azure/EWS using absurdly low priced and often free computing power and storage.
Now that the big tech controls bulk of the infrastructure and the means to search the internet we are starting to feel the consequences of the bigtech dictatorship. It's not perfect and not super convenient for devs to code for as you cant just spin up capacity via API call, however its reliable old school IT that can be automated as well.

If you are unemployed, signup for all the benefits you may or may not be eligible for. You have nothing to lose anyhow and just overload the system. Might as well be you than some Habib from Somalia that benefits.
Most importantly don't lose hope, improve yourself. If your family is toxic cesspool of wokeness consider moving out. Each one of us is capable delivering tangible damage to this system and combined over time easily overwhelm it.
