Good. Prepare. But the plan is not played out yet, and until it is you won't be of any help to anyone by being such a doomer.

HMMM maybe they were busy with everything else they're doing. So what's you're answer? Give up and boast about seceding? Go to sleep.

VERY INTERESTING MENU. For someone who hasn't given up on Trump, you sure look like you've abandoned support for things he's currently doing. Take a step back and look at the big picture.

edit And the rule of law is just what they are upholding. The standing is not strong enough. Once Trump's team makes it to the SCOTUS, they will have different, and better, standing.

We are fighting tooth and nail. Courts are usually a long road, but this is going lightning fast. I'm glad you're optimistic about tomorrow! The commies have tried to stack things against us, so it might be a hard fight yet, but Trump is not going to give up, and neither should we.

"Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens".

You should focus on things that matter, like what Trump's team is still doing. They're still rolling along, still going. It won't help any of them if you give up. You shouldn't give up on Trump, because he hasn't given up on you.

I'm not sure what you mean there, but if you're reading MSM that might explain your crappy attitude and poor sentence structure.

The FBI thing is from at least a month ago involving Ken using his office to get some bimbo a job, it started before the election. I haven't dug all the way into it. In either case, there are bigger things to focus on than dooming and glooming. Trump's Team is still in the game.

This is just angst. Trump's Team (Sidney included) still has things rolling along, and people are acting like those don't exist. When Trump's team brings a case before the SCOTUS, it will have different and necessary standing, because they will represent actual people who were wronged, and will not be bringing charges on behalf of a state entity.

Now is not the time to secede and actually ruin everything Trump is *still trying to accomplish on behalf of all America, despite the defeatist attitudes this case has brought about. The case winked into existence a week ago, and now has winked out. Big Hairy Deal. There are big fish frying right now, and we need to focus on those. This is yet another case that has failed that wasn't connected to Trump's team. I find it very suspicious how strongly the media has reported it, and how strongly they are reporting it now that it has failed. Pull the wool off your eyes and focus on what Trump is actually doing.

Here is some useful reading on standing in the legal sense: https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/standing

It seems to me SCOTUS' rationale is that the state as an entity has not been injured. The people? Ja, but the state was not representing a group of people as plaintiff. In any case, I'm focusing on what we've had going on all along, which is what Trump's team is still working on.

** Edit ** The state wasn't representing John Smith from Austin who had his vote negated by dead guys voting in Detroit. TX sued as though the state of TX had itself been harmed, not John Smith.

Their priority is in maintaining the rule of law, meaning gov't that obeys rules placed upon it, meaning the constitution. If they abandon that as well, the country IS screwed. We have a strict constitutional majority. They do not choose who is harmed and who is not. They do not make any decision they want. They go by what the constitution allows them, and in this case the standing was not enough to warrant taking the case. How strongly you feel about it doesn't change that. Trump's actual team (Sidney included) is still rolling along. This case came out a week ago and went nowhere, and you're ready to throw in the towel? Go to sleep. Take a nap. Look at where we've been, what we've done, and what things are still rolling along. This case was superhyped as a silver bullet. The ONE THING that can win the day, though it was not. Now that it's failed it makes sense that you're feeling doomy. Now is the time to recover, focus on what Trump's team continues to do in spite of your defeatist attitude.

Take a step back. Think about where we've been and what's been done. Those things are still going. This only came about a week ago.

It is in the supreme court's original jurisdiction. I am willing to accept that Alito and Thomas, who are stalwart constitutionalists know what they are doing in agreeing with the no standing decision. Standing means, among other things, there needs to be direct injury. The state of TX was not directly injured, though the people were. We still have big things rolling that have been building momentum since before this case came out a week ago. Now is not the time to give up on what Trump's Team is actually doing. When those cases make the SCOTUS, there will be different standing, and merit to boot.

I don't get how people are turning on Alito and Thomas of all people over this. This case really makes me wonder if it was planned, though Ken Paxton seems legitimate on the surface. That is something worth looking into if you're feeling doomy.

There was harm, but not I think in the way the supreme court is looking for. Even Alito and Thomas are saying they would not grant relief, though the case was in their original jurisdiction. Let Trump's team get a case up where there is standing, where citizens were directly harmed by their own state (citizen v state, not state v state). Then, I believe they will see the standing they're looking for. In either case, now is not the time for dooming. Yeesh, faithless. Most everyone was so gung-ho over ACB, and now even Thomas and Alito are getting hate? Faithless. What the hell is going on with people?

2
Grishnakh 2 points ago +2 / -0

I don't know if it was. But this is very curious. The case came out of nowhere, got everybody talking about it, and then it went nowhere. It crashed. And now everybody is dooming. That makes me suspicious. Intentional or no, it has resulted in a major distraction.

2
Grishnakh 2 points ago +2 / -0

I agree. It would have been a great silver bullet, but we had big things riding before, and they are still there. This court case came in, what earlier this week? And now it's gone nowhere. So what. We still have big fish to fry, and now is not the time to give up and roll over. Now is the time to pull the wool from our eyes and MAGA. We have not lost. Trump's team has not given up and has not been defeated. They weren't a part of the TX case.

1
Grishnakh 1 point ago +1 / -0

I believe Trump's team is prepared and preparing to take these state level cases all the way up. Court proceedings are a long road, but they're going lightning fast for this. Way too much dooming going on for a case that came out a week ago from someone not involved with Trump's team from the very beginning, and went nowhere. We have not lost, we have not even begun to fight. Curious how riled up this has made so many, and how much press and marketing this has gotten in only a week. It has overtaken the real stuff that Trump's team is working on. Very curious.

The standing will be different when one of Trump's team brings something to the supreme court. There is waaaaay to much dooming going on right now. This case came out of nowhere, and went nowhere. Now is the time to refocus on everything that was and is going on by Trump's actual legal team, and those not officially involved, like Sidney.

The correct party has to bring the case! ALETO AND THOMAS both were against granting relief! Trump's cases that everyone has been so excited about up until this point are still in the works! Wake up and smell the ashes! Good grief! THINGS ARE STILL MOVING and people are too distracted by this crap with Texas!

THE TRUMP TRAIN IS THIS WAY, GUYS!

List of state senators, though I'm sure there's a better one somewhere on this site: http://www.senate.ga.gov/senators/en-US/SenateMembersList.aspx

Their email format is [email protected].

FUCK SAFE. Safety is an illusion. If rioting in the streets for social justice is important, the election is important.

This is too sensible to be a joke.
