Don’t do it. Not only is the mask worthless, but is actually more unhealthy than wearing one. A mask, especially a cloth mask, will become saturated with moisture quickly. At that point, every breath just pushes that potential viral load (if you’re talking to a person who believes Covid can be caught by simply breathing normally around people) out and then on when you inhale. Then of course you will touch out.
But heresy the real kicker. Under FDA rules, any mask used to control Covid is considered a “medical device.” You can’t be forced to wear a medical device against your will. It violates informed consent if you are not given the choice to refuse it. People, stand up for your rights. Where the hell are the oily trial lawyers and employment lawyers?
You’re totally right. Lahren was a joke really. But it helps to go to events like this and see what they’re pushing. I entered with low expectations and left feeling the same way. Yes, a total RINO show. My wife was pretty critical of the whole circle jerk. Killed some time on Thursday night though!
I went to the Turning Point USA event at Clemson on Thursday. We were met by masked security and event staff. They told me and my family we had to wear masks. I said no, we’re not. They said the university policy said I had to. Again, I said no. We were let inside and we had to stand to the side while various “officials” kept trying to get us to wear masks, including the TP USA chapter President. The university staff leader asked me what was our medical condition. “None of your business,” I said. Meanwhile, I’m looking at all the dozens of people entering and staff touching their masks, putting them below their noses and chins, and grabbing them out of their pockets. I said to the staff, “ If you’re so interested in masks, not a single person here is even following guidelines.” We waited another few minutes and the university rep came back and handed us three masks and said, “Okay. You can go in, but please just carry these masks in. You don’t have to wear them.” What utter clown-fuckery. But I’m proud that we didn’t back down and it’s shameful that out of hundreds, we were the only ones to stand up to the tyranny.
You don’t have any idea about what I know. Almost my whole family was wiped out by the Nazis. I had conversations with my family who survived it. I have pictures, letters, recordings, and donated materials to the Florida Holocaust Museum.
I find it very disturbing that you’re defending the Nazis who I’m contrasting with the current brown-shirts:Trans, Antifa, and BLM. If you don’t think the image of a Trans LGB flag and BLM fist over the heads of an army that believed in similar thrusts of control of the people, their media, their rights, then I’m afraid there’s nothing I can say or do to help you get the idea.
You’re the second person to have a hard time with this meme. Do you not see that Trans activists and BLM have taken up the ideology they condemned? Anti-gun, anti-freedom, anti-homeschooling, anti-most everything we cherish. They march like the Nazis through the cities attacking those who don’t raise their fists in collaboration? There’s been several articles written about how they have become the new brown-shirts. Hence, the image of TRANS-BLM in concert as the new Nazi cadre.
I didn’t know the Nazis were friends to blacks and the LGB crowd! Nor did I know they were the good guys too. You seem pretty defensive about them when they are cast in the same light as TRANS -BLM activists. Brown shirts one and all.
You see, Nazis didn’t like private ownership of firearms, freedom of speech, freedom of dissent, etc. That’s what the current BLM and Trans and Antifa folks are all about. So, maybe that helped you get the both the irony and the contrast of the image.

Good for them. It wasn’t originally rooted in a Naziism. It was however worn by them, removed from service uniforms after WW2 (which my family served in, as well as Vietnam, and I too took the oath and served as a medic and peace officer), and then as we see now, returned to service. I’ll retract my reference to the Iron Cross and substitute it with “put on your SS insignia.” You may not sleep easier tonight knowing my Iron Cross reference was out of date but correct in spirit.

Having worked with police, EMTs, firefighters, and all other forms of public safety worker, there is no such thing as a perfect human. Many are just as contaminated as the rest of the population. Which is why they should never be given too much power.
