Honest question: Why are we so against the vaccine? Trump has said over and over it is safe. I agree things like vaccine passports and the likes are really out of line and concerning but I dont think just trashing vaccines is productive for anything. I honestly think it is safe and I think it was an amazing achievement that we were able to produce it so quickly.

Every time I go to the grocery store its packed. This is what convinced me the measures being used at the very least are incredibly incompetent and impractical. Effectively the mantra they are enforcing is big business is safe, small business will kill you. It makes no sense.
Then I went to an airport... what a shit show. Crowded as ever, packed on an unventilated plane, give me a break. Not to mention the fact that it facilitates movement of the virus across the country. There is frankly entirely no good reason to shut down restaurants that have done their best to make things as safe as possible. Many have spent large amounts of money to do this as well, but because they are not large enough businesses, their voices are drown out by corporate interests.
This crisis was hijacked early on and has been used to disguise the single largest movement of capital out of the working/middle class and into global corporations. When this is all said and done, there will be ample fuel for a huge political fire. You can feed people whatever information you want, but when they are poorer and than standard of living is stalled, they will not be happy.
What I believe is we need to unite, not under false politicians like Biden, but against them. Not in the sake of conservatism, or liberalism. In my view we have been divided as a distraction from this, even the marxists are inherently against this in the same way we are. I know that is not something that is popular to say around here, but we all have a common enemy which is the global elite. We have different views on what aspects of their control are most nefarious, but in the end we are all upset about something that flows from them. In my view, this is what they are afraid of the most, the great citizens of this country aligning in our opposition to them.
