At this point the best I think I am hoping for is for him to do what the rumors said and open his own media empire to combat the news outlets and tech companies.

“I have always said we would continue our fight to ensure that only legal votes were counted. While this represents the end of the greatest first term in presidential history, it’s only the beginning of our fight to Make America Great Again!”

It's over, man. I don't think there's much carefully chosen here.

Thanks! I don’t know what to think anymore. This is crazy shit.

Says it violated Twitter rules and was removed. What was it?

My condolences! I always forget there’s good men fighting the fight in California.

That was my impression. They’re basically saying the precedence is that the federal court, much like the state court, shouldn’t interfere, but in the same breath stating that PA and others fucked up the election by allowing non-legislature to change the rules.

So on the one hand, they support the scotus hearing the case, but on the other they’re just creating noise. Kinda infuriating.

Yes, I agree. I’m just disappointed my state took that stance.

Reading over Ohio’s declaration entirely just makes it seem like the Ohio AG doesn’t have the courage to make a public stance due to fear of how critical this issue is.

From what I am reading Ohio actually presented previous rulings in what they submitted that makes it seem as if they don’t agree with some of what Texas is asking for.

So on the bright side they want the case heard. On the downside they are staying impartial but saying they don’t believe courts should interfere?

2
Guru 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ohio cucked out. Instead they chose to say the court should hear the case, and presented previous cases that the court should reference, but would support neither side.

I don’t pretend to fully understand their document, but first glance is actually saying Ohio doesn’t agree with some of what Texas is asking for.

I’m struggling to read their declaration, but they’re arguing that state courts cannot interfere with the electoral college appointed by the legislature I believe?

“The Electors Clause means today what it meant a month ago. Ohio hopes this Court agrees. But either way, the States need this Court to decide, at the ear- liest available opportunity, the question whether the Electors Clause permits state courts (and state execu- tive officials) to alter the rules by which presidential elections are conducted. The People need an answer, too. Until they get one, elections will continue to be plagued by doubts regarding whether the President was chosen in the constitutionally prescribed manner.”

I had a gut feeling about DeWine before he was elected, that he’d be bad for Ohio.

I was pissed early on during this COVID shit but holy hell he just kept inching and inching his way over that power trip line and now he’s gone full RINO.

Everyone I’ve talked to conservative wise is sick of his shit. He’s out of here as soon as we can manage it.

DeWine can fuck right off but so far the AG seems to have been solid. They hopped on the initial lawsuit against what PA did early on, though load of good that did.

Since this is a state initiating the lawsuit, I pray to God it finally reaches the Supreme Court and there’s hell to pay

I received a response for the Ohio AG. Hopefully they hop on quickly.

Dear Constituent:

Thank you for contacting the Ohio Attorney General’s Office about the election-related lawsuit filed by the Texas Attorney General on Tuesday.

That lawsuit seeks to have the United States Supreme Court intervene in the actions of the U.S. Electoral College, which is fast approaching the deadline to certify the winner of the 2020 presidential election.

Please understand that the action was filed by Texas authorities without advance notice to, or consultation with, the Ohio Attorney General’s office.

At 154 pages, the lawsuit is substantial and therefore will require substantial review and legal analysis, which this office has begun but not completed.

The Ohio Attorney General’s Office is committed to protecting Ohio citizens and we appreciate receiving your comments and suggestions.

It's cute how you think that's how investigations are started by the government, especially when the accusations aren't against an individual, but against the governmental run systems themselves.

Go back to Reddit with your personal insults.

"Bro", the way these are meant to work is literally to listen to these people. It's on the committee to do an investigation.

Your thought process regarding my logic is ridiculous. If 50-100 people claimed that you raped someone, then there still needs to be an investigation and a trial. You don't just throw people in jail based on hearsay. You investigate.

They aren't doing any follow-up investigative work at all.

I think maybe it's you who's confusing the point of these hearings.

I'm at a high level in IT myself from a systems administration side, and I can say first hand this is all terrifying me.

I've also worked for libraries early on in my IT career (public service) that had better run IT systems than this shit.

1
Guru 1 point ago +1 / -0

Hey friend! I know you're here to troll, but I don't have to prove anything. I don't have access to the system, and I wasn't there, that requires a formal investigation. These people are here providing testimony many times with sworn affadavits.

I do have an extensive IT background at a high level though, so going off the witnesses testimony, that's a high level red flag immediately for me. That kind of shit would get you fired in the private workplace. Not acceptable for the core of our nation.

Any IT system would have an audit trail that forensics would find these things out quite easily.

100%. But evidently the overwhelming evidence of bullying isn't enough for the fuckwits.

The non-secure IT management of the machines running the fucking election is what needs burst wide open.

Guys, NTP not being in sync is a big deal. The updates are a big deal. This needs more detail.
