Oh boy. You think a myocardial infarction is the same as SUdden Cardiac Arrest (SCA)? With an MI the heart doesn't immediately go into fibrillation. That's why people can have chest pain for hours or even days before seeking medical attention. Now with a massive infarct where all blood is immediately cutoff from the heart, then yes, the people immediately drop. They don't go into cardiac arrest, then get up, adjust their helmet, clap their hands, walk two steps, then collapse. If this was CI he would have never got up.

You're 3/4 a retard. Yes, the brain will still function. Just like someone who's passed out their brain still functions. That doesn't mean they can get up and walk around. Please stop, you are embarrassing yourself.

Wrong. It does not take a few seconds for your brain to run out of oxygen. If that was the case holding your breath would mean you would collapse after a few seconds. What keeps your brain "oxygenated" is pressure, specifically systolic blood pressure, which does not occur when your heart is in fibrillation. The pressure drops immediately. Please don't speak on subjects that you clearly have no clue about.

My first thought was also aneurysm, but as you stated, since no surgery that isn't an option. I agree that individuals can move for a period with heart injuries, but not commotio cordis. If it was from the hit he would have immediately went into vfib, and not gotten up.

You think these reporters "know" it's from the hit? It's damage control. FYI, if it was from the hit he wouldn't have gotten up. That's not the way commotio cordis works.

You have no idea what you are talking about. If this was commotio cordis he wouldn't have gotten up. Blunt force trauma to the pericardium immediately releases about 4 to 5 joules of electricity, essentially "shocking" the heart, which puts them into the arrhythmia, usually v-fib. He was conscious several seconds after contact, including getting up and standing for a couple of seconds. We don't know if this was vax related, but you can be sure it wasn't CC.

Not this specifically, but when someone is resuscitated it isn't uncommon for the patient to be unable to breathe on their own.

I think this is meant to be a joke about women's height standards in men.
