Is it just a correlation and those people just needed to relax? If so, doesn't do anything. I'm looking for an actual cause and effect, if you don't know what it is, just say "I don't know", I'm perfectly fine with that.

SolarWinds, specifically the Orion Business part that was the b ackdoor, is a network management system. If SolarWinds had access to those machines and they were networked, it may have been possible for them to make change using the tools in that backdoor.

I'm going to check tomorrow, but it looks like it just means they still have the version of the update from Feb on their website. I'd like someone to investigate the newest update and find out if it has the backdoor because I don't really trust Solarwinds atm.
