Idk she doesn't give me the blue collar vibe that would help with this group. I think acb would turn off moderate women and lagoa would just be safer them in geberal and but the dems on the spot for hating even one of their treasure "poc" groups. Also it's not just Florida, Latinos are everywhere.
Lagoa is much better for the election. Coney is perceived as being very socially conservative, a big turnoff the the moderate women that will make or break this elections. If he cares about the election this is an easy choice. This is NOT the time for ideological purtianism.
Lagoa needs to be the pick. First, it helps him in the election. Courts are important but we all know that we need a second term to really undo so much shit. True or not, ACB is really associated with abortion issues and that is NOT the discussion we need to be having now. This would keep many female voters at home. Trump won because he put social issues on the sidelines and focused on the economy and foreign policy. Social issues are emotional, the playground of the dems. Trump wins by tying the dems with socialism and unrest and NO ONE knows the dangers of these better than the FL Cubans. An added bonus is that this conveniently makes her a Latina, hitting the Dems with their own weapon.
Also, I'm in Chicago and I really did not like the Obama Center or lockdown ruling. I get that she's a textualist but still so shitty.
I'm a lurker from 2016 and my only posts so far have been about Lagoa. This is a make or brake for the election and people need to realize that.
This is no time for puritanism.
And as a catholic I am concerned about her with our pope.
Choosing Acb would be an unforced error.
