We received the same letter twice... First time I just shredded it, but two weeks later I got the same letter again and wrote a note similar to yours and mailed it. It's been two weeks and I've not heard from these guys so who knows.
I live in Texas. This is exactly what's happening here. For us power went off Sunday morning and has not returned. Water is sporadic. Fortunately we've been thru multiple hurricanes and this is no different. We have a generator and gas stove /oven, gas water heater,, gas heat. They don't turn off the natural gas lines ever so a 8k or 10k genny that's back fed into the main panel works like a charm. Just turn off the main breaker. EZ PZ
ERCOT needs to Suck Cock. These idiots dropped the ball. http://www.ercot.com is the dumbest site I've ever seen. Well Biden’s make your own meme.
In small town Texas there's no need for this because the majority do NOT wear masks. Two stores here have Karens however, so we effectively boycott those. There are hundreds of us here. Other small towns are the same way. I see more and more unmasked men and women everyday. It's like making new Frens.
Agreed... What I'm reading now is Abbott De Cuck blames "private energy companies". Whether true or not Government can't run a tricycle down a flat sidewalk. Somebody needs to disclose why millions of Texans are without power, and more importantly, what is going to be done to ensure this doesn't happen again.
From the link below:
Some of the energy sources powering the grid were knocked out by the inclement weather, most of which were facilities run by gas, coal or nuclear energy.
“Most of the plants that went offline during evening and morning today were fueled by one of those sources,” said Dan Woodfin, senior director of system operations at ERCOT.

Only a Libtard would believe that. My point was the Left heralded the almighty windmill as well as solar as it's savior and now we're witnessing the epic failure of both. Plus the addition of said windmills allowed for the closure and/or reduction of several fossil fuel plants.
Actually you're dead on with that comment. The so called "independent grid" they've been touting forever here just got the curtain pulled back to reveal just how fragile this system really is. I'm moving to Florida......
Beyond pissed... My wife works for a huge state run org here and gets updates every hour.
"No electricity thru Tuesday and possibly Wednesday". That message came thru 20 minutes ago.
Lotta ppl here have no heat, no way to cook food. Stores are closed. Fuck Abbott. Fuck green energy.
You must live in Austin / Dallas or some other urban area here?
We're on the Texas Coast and have had NO electricity since 6:30am. An hour ago we lost water. Thanks Abbott..... Notice the press release he just did blamed "fossil fuels and coal" for freezing up but NOTHING about windmills. We have over a thousand down here and they're all frozen stiff.
So small town Texas suffers while Abbott stays warm. No way this cuck gets a third term.
holy shit the ignorance of leftists wearing that shirt.
And here we go.. Libtards only care what Elites like Sean Penn say; they have no idea who Che Guevara was or what he did.
Those who chose to forget history are doomed to repeat it.
We live on the Texas Coast.. Lost power for 4 hours last night. Just went off again an hour ago. Where the fuck is Abbott??? All we ever hear is Ken Paxton and Dan Patrick. Abbott is crickets. No way cuck RINO Abbott gets a third term in '22.
It does actually, but as I said we're gas everywhere: even the dryer. Dual fuel on the generator. We balance the load in two ways to alleviate stress on the engine. The obvious first; only run what you need and rotate that (like if you have two central units). Secondly you're pushing 220 into the panel and it's not like that generator provides side A with more amps than side B based on demand. The engine revs up and provides both sides with more power. So balance the load. Don't have two refrigerators on side B for instance. This is normal electrical protocol. All new houses are balanced. They don't just toss those breakers in the panel without considering load.
