I haven't seen any actual evidence for all these strains. How do they determine if someone has a new strain or not? Do they test every single person for every strain? Half the tests give false positives but now they can determine strains?
It might, the current thinking is that natural antibodies are more broad spectrum. That's why people that have had SARS are immune to SARS-CoV-2. Also people that have had other corona viruses may be immune as well. While the ones you get from the vaccine are very specific for SARS-CoV-2.

We know a corona virus vaccine for cats caused immune dependent enhancement making the casts much sicker after encountering the real virus. Another vaccine for a similar virus for people killed a lot of kids in the Philippines for the same reason.

I expect most if not all vaccines to be mRNA vaccines. They are already working on mRNA flu vaccines.
I think mRNA technology is interesting in that it may help with getting the immune system to attack cancer cells. But right now we don't have any long term research in humans. We know these vaccines have had disastrous effects in mammals and it's just too much of a risk for what is not much worse than a common cold for most people.

I know one person that tested positive for the antibodies some time after having a cold for 3 days.
One more person who had a PCR test, tested positive one day, then another test the next day, tested negative. Never had symptoms, so just a false positive. But I bet that false positive was reported as a case of covid.
I know of no one that got extremely sick, I don't know anyone that died.
