This is the third time I’ve heard about her in a week in the news. It probably means Kim Jong Un is on the way out.

I lived in Seattle and had my car broken into many times (the police took half a day to respond for me to report it), heard a man shot to death by the police after a car chase and pulled a weapon, witnessed robberies, wasn’t comfortable going to the outdoor ATMs on the Main Street of their largest university, saw homelessness everywhere (not including the actual homeless city south of downtown), and learned that the police are underfunded. Also, a woman in the next apartment complex over was shot by a cop in her home in front of her children which caused huge protests, she apparently had mental health issues and had called the cops herself for help. That was sad. Overall Seattle just seemed to have so much turmoil and misdirection and a large part of it seems to stem from the drastic change in wealth from Amazon and other tech companies moving in. Everyone I met who grew up in Seattle proper had moved out because of home prices skyrocketing.

Exactly! I would be embarrassed if all companies and the entire nation was groveling to say how sorry they are for keeping me in my place. What about my autonomy? What about my self motivation? What about my respect as a human, not as a skin color! I don’t need their pity or apology, I don’t need them lumping me in with a criminal, by doing so they are showing what they really mean: that they see me as beneath them, beneath whites, and still in need of their power and blessing. They are lost, racist, sick people.

Yeah it is making me wonder, does that mean if they didn’t say anything, it means they don’t support equality?

I find it very interesting that the cop help him stand back up after he seemed to fall to the ground. The police seemed very gentle and were not using excessive force in this video.

Exactly. I’ve been telling people that the only privilege I have as a white person is that I cannot use my skin color to blame for my failures-my life is solely my responsibility. And the funny thing is that is a privilege that black people can have too, anytime, it’s just a change in your mind, it’s a personal choice.

This is beautiful! Wow I’m tearing up. That is the exact message, the exact words that I need to hear and want to say.

Hey, he asked you and you won’t give an answer? Why not? I’m curious too and I’ll listen if you actually want to have a conversation.

Wait do you think people here support what happened to George Floyd?

Hey, grab a coat!

I disagree. Cops should not beat people up. As nice as it may sound, that is not their job. Supporting the police means supporting their role they play in a healthy civilized society.

The facebook comments on that video are justifying beating her because she apparently called them the N word. This is insane. No wonder we are seeing riots. Words do not justify violence; MLK would not be a hero to them. And that woman now believes what she believes more than ever.

I’m watching the new Epstein documentary on Netflix and it is so painful to see what the tip of the iceberg looks like and it’s hitting me how prevalent it all is. All the different examples of abuse I’ve heard from people I’ve met over the years suddenly all connected and hit me how real and evil it is.
