For something this serious you are looking at actual insurrection charges under ucmj if you fail. So, no half measures. That means, would these guys be willing to kill buddies if they believed the election was legitimate and tried to stop them?

I think at the most Trump was hoping for civil disobedience and not violence. Violence didn't really gain conservatives anything besides pointing out the left's hypocrisy which isn't anything new.
I defintely think the protest became a riot due to professional agitators. They were "bird dogging" at his rallies in 2016, why not here too?
