I guarantee you whatever crap she espouses in her house is probably worse than what she'd be getting in their school district. She thinks everyone should be doing school at home, NOT because she's aware of any brainwashing in school, but because she herself is brainwashed enough to think kids are in danger of dying if they go to school.

Food has risen but where I am it's only like 5%. Houses are up because of years of government interference in the market, which was extremely exacerbated by their covid "rescue" measures. I honestly don't know about PVC so I won't comment on that. Lumber is an issue all its own. Everyone in the real estate business or construction business is talking about it. It's not slight inflation, which is what has been seen in other areas like food, clothes, toys, etc.
Being an outspoken "extremist" about the truth is part of the battle.
Are most who are business minded or religious, also illegals who need amnesty? (I don't think they are.)
Lumber is like twice the price in a year. I worry about inflation but lumber is currently an anomaly.
At first it was supply chain issues, which made some sense. Now it's still some of that, but it no longer makes sense. Covid should no longer be seen as a threat by any remotely sane person. Beyond that, skyrocketing real estate prices (which are also propped up by federal government interference / manipulation), are prompting many lumber suppliers to go "okay well we should be charging more for our materials then." This causes halts in real estate projects, and it's become a vicious cycle at this point.
That's a great idea. There are a lot of places that really don't have any options for "school choice" though other than homeschool. That is the only option. That might change if parents actually had this amount of money to put towards something. I'm pretty sure more money than that is spent at public schools anyway. Without it being directed towards school expenses though, and with few existing options for "choice" for many, your situation / action is an unfortunate rarity. It's great that you guys are doing that though.
Obviously every person out there throwing rocks at vehicles SHOULD already be arrested and in a cell. When laws aren't enforced, expect retaliation from normal people.

Just be happy when something important is stickied, whether it's yours or not. Mods aren't always able to keep track or who posted what first, and they will also (I think) try to choose things with the most clickable titles and appeal.
