If there is potentially any possible silver lining to the "fallout" that will eventually come from the scamdemic, it could be this...

Oh except give China access to our power grid, of course... and tell people they have to get a DNA altering vaccine in order to live a normal life... even though the 'rona ain't shit.

God help us. (sincerely)

I don't know what 2022 / 2024 have in store. I do know the only way to have any chance at election integrity is state and especially local level, as well as brave people who will NOT BACK DOWN. That's the only way.

POTUS did what he could by making deals, but deals with the devil never work out. There comes a point where you have to just purge the evil and not care what anyone thinks about it. Who is like that? ...

They know what they're doing.

Screw republicans too, but I'm so tired of watching this show over and over.

This is just the latest issue that they'll use this play on.

Sounds like some made up term to say "we don't want him in public or doing anything."

  1. Push for law to keep interest rates very, very low (approaching zero). It can be done for homes. There's no reason not to do it here.

  2. Push for law that allows refinancing into those lower interest rates without any penalty in terms of repayment plans. This is also something that's been done with mortgages, and there's no reason not to do it here.

  3. If you're going to push for a forgiveness amount, push to forgive accrued interest. Don't push to forgive some arbitrary blanket amount that really has no fairness attached to it because everyone's situation is different. Even if this meant sending checks out to people for accrued interest forgiveness they "missed out on," I still think this would be preferable (and much more fair) than just saying blanket "$50k is forgiven."

  4. Finally, push to make student loans dischargable in bankruptcy, like every other kind of debt. Doing this would eventually force schools, lenders, the government, and students... to look at how reasonable (or unreasonable) the amounts being loaned are. That translates into "how reasonable is this tuition and can it continue at this rate?" It would also start forcing a look at the value of the actual degree. It would force thought on "will the degree actually pay this debt"?

Student debt and out of control tuition are mounting problem, and every honest person knows that. But the only way to REALLY address it is to get into the guts of how the lending system works. We have to build in accountability and competitiveness. The biggest reason tuition and student debt have spiraled completely out of control is because there's no accountability built into the system. There is no accountability on the part of the lender because the amount can't be discharged in bankruptcy. There is no accountability on the part of the school because they can get young kids to take out big loans, so they don't have to worry about being "competitive" with tuition or being accountable in their outcomes. Get what I'm saying?

I'm no Ted Cruz fangirl by any stretch, but I'm so sick of this shit.

Is there something wrong with me? It's not like taking them there means he has to stay there or can't do anything. It's also not like he can just snap his fingers and make something happen.

I would put it ROUGHLY like this, and of course this is all relative to the culture at the time. This is referring to how things are perceived in the current society... to what the preferred cultural direction is.

If I were on twitter or something, some leftie would chime in and talk about how "more welfare money goes to white people." It's all about scale. It's all about the percentage of the group that depends on it. So if 70+% of people in one group depends on it, while 15% in another group depend on it, the smaller group with the higher percentage still has more of a problem. And it is NO SECRET that the implementation of welfare programs in the 60s was INTRINSICALLY CONNECTED with the "civil rights" movement. It was called for BECAUSE OF that, and if not for that, it never would've been done.

Going to be very interesting.

Dear blue state lovers, let me know how many people are migrating from the south and midwest to your states. Get back to me.

Texans won't.

Watch this unfold.

They pay more attention to Trump than they do to Xiden... which is frankly, fitting.

It's so pathetic...

And this isn't even about whether you agree with the need for stimulus or not. It's just the politics of it. Watch how many people will scream "republicans wouldn't pass a stimulus check." In reality, the truth will be "republicans wouldn't pass $15 minimum wage" or "republicans wouldn't pass blanket student loan forgiveness" or "republicans wouldn't pass UBI masquerading as a tax credit."

At this point, watching what's happening, I'm going to be really surprised if there is another stimulus checks. The swamp and especially dems don't care about the people. They just always want to have someone else to blame for never getting anything done. That's their MO politically.
