The U.S. isn't exactly a Capitalist economy. The US regularly involves itself with quasi fascist mixed economy tactics. From No-Bid Contracts, Tax writeoffs, Zombie Corporations, Bailouts, and other practices like contractual bids.
The U.S. never really has been a Capitalist economy since 1900s.
