My dad also worked for Walmart in the 80s. Sam threw a party and invited employees and dad got a few minutes face to face with him. Dad had noticed Sam drove an old truck and be asked Sam why he didn't get new ones, he could definitely afford it. Sam told Dad, "it gets me from point a to point b, why would I need a new one". That stuck with my dad and with me.

Dominion used servu which is a ftp software suite, that module wasn't part of the hack. The hack was through a hotfix for the Orion npm software.

The whole Benghazi affair for me, it was on the heels obamas constant move against civil liberties like making it ok to torture American citizens. That had my pissed off at the establishment. Then a candidate got on stage and called that bitch nasty and a criminal. I knew at that moment that was the man who would single handedly act as an agent if chaos and flip the script on the establishment. I. Regret. Nothing

I had gotten one as a gift from my wife, best pillow I ever had and I have plenty of sleep issues. After he manned up for Rittenhouse I bought a 2nd mypillow, 1 set of Giza sheets, 1 set of flannel Giza sheets, and a couple towel sets. Bit expensive but had a 50% off code for the whole order. Very pleased with every single item. I'm a sheet snob and these are like clouds sprinkled with joy. The towels are really good surprised me how much better they were than some more expensive ones I've owned. Pretty nice when we can support a Patriot, buy American, and get good quality all in one

They have a full range of modules. Mainly it's snmp monitoring focusing on Cisco products and server infrastructures. But they have tools that can automate config changes to routers and switches, manage virtual machines and call managers etc

Alot of people use it, especially in the middle sized crowd as the big NPMs cost way too much and self development is too time consuming. It leaves alot ot be desired though.

And as a correction to my earlier post, now that I've see exactly what the attack was, it is very bad. They trojanized a core dependency in solarwinds which would let them effectively disguise as an admin service and push out whatever tasks they want from within. Anyone who doesn't isolate their network well would be in for some tragedy.

I am intimately familiar with solarwinds having been a system engineer using it for the better part of 12 years. First, understand it's a monitoring system, only certain modules like their ncm module can actually be exploited to I'll effect.

Second, most of the government agencies barely use the product. Take NASA, they have one small 10 person team that uses it to monitor non critical web servers. So honestly there's really nothing shocking or alarming here on the surface.

The initial investigation has 45 days from November 3, then another 45 days to file the report, it's in the order

Arent the "new" states siding with Texas?

2
Hemirocket 2 points ago +2 / -0

Its neutral, they support the call to question the unconstitutional changes in the states but feel Texas' requested remedy is too great of an ask.
