No. He's been praising Trump's response the last week or two. He went on Hannity's radio show for 40 minutes the other day and the two agreed on a lot; it was a great interview. Cuomo is doing an overall good job handling the crisis.

Cuomo is doing a great job handling this crisis. De Blasio on the other hand is doing an abysmal job. Leading the city's citizens to their death, and takes no responsibility. The first 20 minutes of his press briefings are almost always Trump-bashing sessions—even though Trump is doing a lot to help NY out.

Yep, the whole issue is the potential of hospitals being overwhelmed. If a treatment helps people recover quicker, that reduces the amount of time those beds are unavailable for new patients. This could theoretically help solve that issue in a major way.

Sadly, about what I expected at this point. It'll theoretically take until 14 days after their lockdown took effect, until we see just how successful those measures were. Hopefully after it's been 14 days we'll start to see a plateau/drop in the daily number of new cases.

You don't remember that bc the bird flu didn't cause hospitals to be overwhelmed with people stuck on ventilators for weeks and weeks. Are you not paying attention to Italy? Or to all the nurses in the US warning they are quickly nearly capacity?

So how am I wrong? In NY state, 53,000 beds and 3,000 ICU. If the numbers increase at the projected rate, in <45 days they'll need 110,000 and 37,000, respectively. Hospitals in Italy are admitting patients at a faster rate than they're discharging them. This is well-documented. How about instead of having a stroke at your keyboard you actually explain how I'm a "shithead being brainwashed"?

I wouldn't be surprised if China's actual case numbers are up in the millions, with hundreds of thousands if not a few million dead. There's no way a country with a population of 1.4 billion would take the extreme measures they've been taking, for something that was "just the flu".

One of Tucker's guests the other night was a doctor who said his doctor contacts over in China admitted they weren't even counting the bodies—that there were just so many. China is trying to act like they've got this situation under control when there's almost no way they do—and even if they do, there's no way the numbers are as low as what they're officially telling us.

No. We don't remember because all the cases weren't overwhelming the hospitals with tons of patients stuck in the ICU for up to 8 weeks, thereby occupying beds that couldn't be used for other patients. You're retarded if you think this is nothing to be worried about. NY state has 53,000 beds and 3,000 ICU. In about 45 days they're projected to need 110,000 beds and 37,000 ICU. This is a repeat of what has happened to Italy.

Stop carrying water for the CCP and trying to downplay the threat of this virus. China would love nothing more than for dumb idiots to not realize this is a legit threat, and have it sweep through our country just like it did, theirs. Italian doctors have been warning us of what's to come, and yet you're still in denial. If you lived in 1918, I bet you'd have been claiming that wasn't going to be a threat, too. Your comments are going to age horribly in the coming weeks/months.

Exactly. And this is the major concern about this virus, that makes it different. So many people here are seemingly incapable of fathoming the idea of hospitals getting overwhelmed... even though it's already happened in Italy! How many US cities/states will that need to happen to, before people wake up?

Italy's hospitals getting overwhelmed is a fact too. You fundamentally don't understand what makes this virus a threat. So many comments in this thread aren't going to age well when in a few weeks NYC's hospitals can't handle the massive influx of new patients.

So by your logic, we should say "China food" instead of "Chinese food". Or "Mexico food" instead of "Mexican food". Or say "1918 Spain flu" instead of "1918 Spanish flu"...

It's literally not. Influenza is not a coronavirus.

EDIT: Go ahead and downvote, but it's literally not. You are spreading disinformation all over this sub.
