BLM written on the street isn't important and I'm disgusted by the significance some people give to it. I don't care who does what to it or if we just let nature wear it off. It's totally meaningless and shouldn't have been put there in the first place. Only people with small minds think this is "doing" anything good.
This reads like satire trying to pass as legit by using the right buzzwords, and someone fell for it. Like those people who wrote nonsensical scientific papers to see if anyone was stupid enough to publish them (they were).
It's been 3 years for me. I worked there in the 80's near Civic Center and can't believe how bad things are there now. I remember going to see the condos at Opera Plaza when they first opened, a friend and I took a tour of the models and dreamed about living there one day. Thankfully we both stayed in the East Bay.
I don't celebrate it either but I'm in favor of taking people like this out of circulation. Prison shouldn't be a place where we take care of people for the rest of their lives though since they will still be able to pollute society by their presence and words and actions.
