We've flattened the curve and some of us have been under SIP for more than a month. I'm fine with places opening since only those who want to risk it will go to the gym and restaurants and nail salons, etc. Other people can continue to self isolate and everyone can watch and see what happens and plan accordingly.
He's right, it WON'T be normal but it's also not going to be shut in and quarantined. Maybe people wear masks or chose to stay inside their homes 24/7, I don't know, but most people are going to start going out and seeing people again, even if it's in small groups rather than large crowds, and trying to get back to work. Herd immunity can develop naturally while a vaccine is being developed. It has to be that way because we may NOT find a vaccine soon or ever, and can't stay in hiding with everyone being susceptible for more than another couple weeks.
I've been saying "bring it" ever since I heard about this virus. Yes, I'm scared of it and rightly so due to my age, but I knew from the beginning it was the only way to go. We can't hide from a virus and they always have the upper hand so why pretend otherwise?
Sorry but I think some of you guys are idiots! Curbside pickup is amazing and we've done it during the shutdown and will continue to do it even after it's over at some places because why the hell wouldn't we?

TOTALLY OVERSTEPPING!!! The SIP isn't a law, it's a recommendation that people are following of their own accord. Who the hell think anyone can just speak a law into existence and dole out punishments? I will drive my care where ever the hell I want and I WON'T be rolling down the window to talk to anyone, especially a cop who wants to cite me.
NOBODY has to agree to house arrest. Fight back against these little power mad dictators with no sense in them, or that's who will be running our lives in the future.
