There won't be a vaccine for this. I don't think we've found a vaccine for any of the other types of coronavirus either. This all comes down to treatments, which comes down to healthcare providers and hospitals not be so overrun so that people die needlessly. The shutdown is buying time to prep for the inevitable and while it MUST be short term I think it's already done a lot of good.
